I have ben using myfitnesspal for a while but stopped. Now I'm getting back on track. I'm wanting to loss about 30-40 lbs and get fit for my 10 year HS reunion. Having support is I believe the best way to lose weight as we can feed off each other ! I'd be glad to be support buddies :smile:

In my experience, you lose the most weight in the kitchen. If you can cut out bad foods or foods that just aren't healthy, I think you will lose weight. Like you said you will be exercising a bit so yes, I do believe you will lose weight.

Mrs. Dash is the best way to go. No salt and there are a bunch of different flavors !

Even if you are not hungry you should because you don't want to be starving later and eat a ton. If your not hungry but haven't eaten in a while munch on some carrots or half an apple or something small. Maybe a couple crackers and cheese. Not anything huge !

I like to keep it simple and quick. Some times I'll do egg and toast or oatmeal and banana or some times a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats.

I did the 30 Day Shred and loved it ! I am thinking about doing it again. It's a great 20 minute workout and you sweat like crazy ! At least I did :) Good luck !

Most of the time I'm at work. Sucks to say that most the time I am sitting there thinking about it. And trust me if I could I would so get up and go for a walk or do some type of activity. And yes it is all about will power and mind over matter.

I have found that I do need to drink more water. I rarely drink water during the day. My drink is soda. To be exact, Diet Mt. Dew ! I think I need to give that up and start with water !

I figure while at work I need to pack more healthy snacks. That way I can get through the day and not eat junk food. Also at night I get a major sweet and when that comes oh man does it suck !

I'm not eating good calories. I mean I am staying under my goal but eating bad calories like burgers high carb calories.

I was always told the best place to start is your kitchen. If you only have healthy foods in your house then you will only eat healthy. Great change !

I like taking small steps. What I started doing is thinking of my next days goals. Just taking it day by day and focusing on that day and nothing more.

Sodium can make you retain water. I can really only say that if you do intake a lot of sodium then drink a lot more water. I'm not a trainer or nutritionist but that is what I have heard.

Well, I also have an app that tells me the mph I am going and distance. I also have a HRM and I went on a walk and used both. According to the app I was walking average 3.5 for about 70 mins. When I just add it to MFP it tells me I burned about 300 and some odd calories. When I checked the HRM it said I burned almost 700…

Nothing inspires me when poeple tell me that I look good or they can tell that I have been loseing weight and want to know what I am doing !! I love that feeling !!
