  • Slow but sure! You're doing it the right way and look fantastic!!
  • You look fantastic by the way!!!
  • Thank you :) Hanging on and continuing to work without progress is so tough. Sometimes it's just nice to know it's not just you.
  • Been working very closely with my Doctor since my Mom passed away a year ago. Slow but sure :) Frustrating beyond belief though! Thanks!
  • Typically alternating from the elliptical, to ski machine, to treadmill throughout the week. Slowly building endurance to stay on them for an hour. I eat similar things during the work week, as I prep on weekends. Though I'm not getting much sleep. A diagnosed insomniac doesn't help with my diet, I'm sure. Thank you for…
  • Hi Carol! Welcome to MFP! It's a wonderful community filled with recipes, friendships, and support. These forums are what keep me sane. Feel free to send me a friend request should you want to join me on my journey to a healthier life :) Best of luck! Trista
  • First things first, you're only human! Give yourself a break; we all have bad days, and will continue to have bad days forever. It's really unfortunate that your family isn't supportive. I have a few people in my life whose actions were the same. It's hard to zone them out, I understand that from experience, so just try…
  • I got dumped because my Mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer (she has passed away now), and my boyfriend at the time told me I was too sad all the time. Some people's children, I tell you.
  • good for you, girl!
  • You can always tell her you feel so much better now that you've lost a bunch of weight and would love the company in eating healthier and potentially working out. When all is said and done though, she's going to be the one who decides whether or not she wants to do it. She needs that "push" to start, which you've already…
  • I weigh myself usually once or twice a day, but only record it once a week. This way, it makes things less fluctuant and you can better track your results! :)
  • Just trust me when I say that they're terrible :P
  • Hey Joanna! I'm Trista, I'm 22yrs old and in my final year of college. I'm a busy girl, trying to balance school, the gym, work and a social life. Been through a lot and have lots to talk about :) Happy searching!! T
  • I broke BOTH ankles at the same time while jumping on a trampoline.. worst pain ever. Was in a wheelchair for three months :(
  • You look beautiful!! Such an inspiration <3 That is such a huge accomplishment! And yes, I am a zig-zag wonderer, too
  • Totally feel you! Some people are so rude :( This website and forums are supposed to be designed for support and for user to help and encourage each other! Personally, I don't eat all of my fitness calories back, but it really depends on how hungry I am. I choose not to deprive myself; but many people would disagree. Kudos…
  • I hope all works our with your Mom, Jacqueling. September 1st will be one year that my Mom passed away at 45yrs old, of lung cancer, not smoking a day in her life. I've had a rough year, and after a tough breakup with a boyfriend a few weeks ago, I have definitely had better days. WHen I'm down, it's nice to come to forums…
  • 1) actually show UP to my classes regularly 2) get into a sleeping routine (so I can show up to classes) 3) gym at least 3 times a week; partner or no partner 4) don't save studying and assignments until the night before and "get over it" 5) socialize a little more, and don't let the fact that my ex-boyfriend is in all my…
  • I'm actually shocked! I found my nipples hurt the least of all of my piercings! A lot of people take pain killers or use numbing creams beforehand, but I didn't get to, because it was a spur of the moment thing. The VCH definitely hurt, but I highly recommend it!
  • I have both wrists, and both feet. Wrists were a piece of cake. Feet were absolute TORTURE. but well worth it :)
  • a few in each ear lobe nose side labret nipples vch (hurt the most) bellybutton
  • Pros are definitely more sensitivity in the bedroom. And a huge turn-on for my partner. Cons were just the healing phase. I take a long time to heal, so I had to be super careful. Go for it, girl! But make sure your studio is authorized and very clean :)
  • Hi all, my name is Trista, and here is my ink! June 2006, for my sixteenth birthday; Dad's a fireman about three hours, lower back/tramp stamp May 2009, for my nineteenth birthday; my Mom and Dad got matching tattoos. Last year, my Mom passed away and my Dad and I added a halo above my Mom. about half an hour, nape of neck…
  • I've never been married, but my Mom got her dress made into my Christening gown. I still have the gown and plan on using it for my child's Christening (should I have a baby girl). She passed away in September last year, so knowing that was her wedding dress (and still married to my dad), means the world.
  • Elliptical, Swimming & Hot Yoga
  • You look wonderful! Truly an inspiration to me. I wish you truly the best on the rest of your journey!
  • I don't give myself a cheat day, because I feel as though you're going to more tempted to splurge that day and eat too many calories. I track my calories daily, and if I have enough remaining at the end of the day and feel as though I deserve something a little sweet, then I don't feel guilty treating myself :) Good luck…
  • Hey ladies, I use MFP daily, and love the motivation it brings to me, and that I can bring to others. Feel free to add me :) My name is Trista, by the way. Good luck to you all on your journeys!
  • I just bought a Magic Bullet online and have had it for a little over a month now. It's great for smoothies, salsa, soup, grating, etc. And it really doesn't take up much space. Everything is dishwasher safe, and has an easy clean up :)
