yes, significantly in your mid-section.

cream of broccoli soup!

this is like asking if men like broccoli. the question is pointless because everybody is attracted to different things. i've always been a heavy girl and i've never had a real problem (no more than anyone else) attracting, catching and keeping boyfriends / lovers / relationships. but there are plenty of men who would not…

do not pass go!! do not shop at any of the earlier suggested places. (save a lot, dollar tree, etc) for two people, $200 can get you quite a bit of food, but you have to be creative. first, check your farmer's markets. here we have a program where if you spend $5 at the farmer's market with your ebt (food stamps) you get…

you can skinny up lasagna considerably in the summer by using fresh, raw ingredients and baking them all together. sometimes i like to use thin-sliced (lengthwise) zucchini or yellow crookneck squash in place of noodles i layer looseleaf kale or spinach (or both) with sliced fresh tomatoes, garlic, onions, basil and…

yes, definitely a winter squash. i like to bake squash with fresh thyme and a little butter. the seeds are really nutritious. scoop them out (like above poster said), rinse, rub with olive oil, a little salt, pepper and dried (or fresh) herbs and bake until golden. they've got more protein than a steak.

not all processed foods are bad, but what's best is to process them yourself so you can control the ingredients. i like to make my own trail mixes, for example... and as far as carrots & celery, you just have to figure out ways to dress them up, but they're a great substrate for so many snacks. you have to first re-train…

flavored triscuits are processed... jus' sayin'

i like to put peanut butter on carrots and celery. sometimes if i'm feeling spicy, i'll add granola and cranberries. i eat granola & yogurt all the time! apples & cheese kale smoothies hard boiled eggs egg on toast for breakfast pumpkin or sunflower seeds almonds, cashews.. nuts in general now, many of these are…

your doctor prescribed gatorade?

we just eat them plain, one by one! or sometimes with spinach

what she said! we're close to season, tho. i've had a couple ripe ones from my garden, but really looking forward to season!!

i'm in the US, but i can't imagine that we hold the patent on listing nutritional values in books. :) hell, we don't even LIKE books here. (joke)
-
when i was a kid, i remember getting a book that listed all of the fast food restaurants and their nutritional profiles. check your library because this work can already have been done for you. ;)
-
or you can eat them! either way, a beautiful idea!

if anyone is in providence, i would love to meet up at a park to hoop with other people. i have a travel hoop.
-
i have a pretty small apartment, too, but it's big enough (or at least stuff isn't totally in the way) to do just core hooping, maybe a little turning or spinning, but definitely no major tricks. i just push everything out of the middle and hope for the best :)

i log after i eat because my aim here isn't so much to lose weight, it's more of learning how to eat without having to log. so i'm learning what x-calories looks like / is roughly so that i can just keep track in my head eventually. so i log as i eat or after i eat, but i exercise a LOT so i don't worry so much about it.…

i am addicted and learning more tricks, but mostly i just hoop my core. i'm good at keeping it going, my longest probably about 20m without dropping. but i can go for about an hour.

But these are all American companies (except Wetherspoons, I think) so they'd already have the work done; whether or not they choose to do it in the UK is no more work than having been required already to do it here in the States. That's all. Believe me, they are not heroic in the slightest. The amount of rainforest they…

they're no heroes; i think they're required to post this information by federal law.

i would also make a report to his/her supervisor. (s)he may be suffering from some kind of disorder.
-
lucky for you, the solution is simple: just do it anyway. the learning curve is very quick, so don't worry yourself too much!

this is such an important step!! thanks for sharing!

my lovey loves me the way i am, no doubt, and i love him the way he is, no doubt, but i want to love him and want him to love me for more years than what treating our bodies poorly will allow, so... we eat together more often than not and we eat the same things. we both eat healthily (or albeit sometimes unhealthily) and…

you can freeze peaches, but i think it's better to blanch & remove the skins first. so they're a little more work but well worth it. we get delicious peaches here in the late summer, too!

many farms will offer "pick your own" and have a better price than store-bought / shipped from afar varieties. i do PYO for blueberries every year and get them for about $1.25/LB. i pick enough to freeze and we eat them year round.

just make your own green smoothies... way nutritious, way inexpensive and super raw foods!
