  • Go Purple!!!! You can do this.....hopefully I'll be back next month!
  • Interesting. I can't seem to loose on the 1200 calories of which I never eat that much anyway. So I guess I should be eating that much or more.
  • Good for you for doing something you enjoy and can afford.

  • I've used Aerobics, high intensity and the dancing one. Zumba is an intense workout. I love it. As for the person who said ditch it - you've never taken a class have you?

  • Wow you look fan frickin tabulous! Congratulations on your hard work.
  • Hi and welcome. This site is great. I'm one that isn't fond of working out but I make myself do it. I've learned to really love Zumba and have been trying TurboKick. Find something you really like to do (or don't dispise) and get into a routine. I've sent you a friend request. I'll help all I can.
  • I was way under my calories after exercise tonight. I can't force myself to eat anything else so I'm running with it. If you want the chocolate milk (which sounds really good now) then go for it.
  • Good question! I'm going to a birthday party at a Mexican restaurant Wednesday. Hopefully someone will help us. I usually get Chili Rellano's a la carte but I'm not sure if that's a good choice or not. It's always the chips and salsa plus or minus a margarita that gets me!
  • Hi and welcome. Feel free to add me as a friend. I'm here daily!
  • I don't pay attenton to the sugar because it's all from fresh fruit. Honestly, I don't pay much attention to any of it other than the calories. As long as you're eating healthy, exercising and losing weight I wouldn't worry about it.
  • I'm not a big fan of exercise either. I recently joined the YMCA and started doing the Zumba classes. I love it and hate when I have to miss it. I'm always going to start taking their Turbokick class. I enjoy walking also. Ouch on the blisters! Let those heal.

  • I'm on the 1200 calories per day. I don't have set things I eat but I have kept to primarily fresh fruit, vegetables, salads and protein. If I eat bread it's one of the new sandwich rounds. I have Greek Yogurt for breakfast at times also. Eliminating the fast food, fried foods, pizza etc. has made a huge difference. Find…
  • I love Zumba and do Turbokick as well. It's hard to find how many calories I burn doing them though. I try to burn at least 350 but it's usually more. Depends on the teacher and my effort also.
  • Determination and setting my mind to stay on track is what helps me. This website is a blessing also. I know I have to come here daily and enter every single thing that went into my mouth. I've always drank a lot of water but now I know how much I've drank. Support is a huge key to staying on track also. Did you just join?

  • Just found this. I'm in. I'll send a friend request.
  • Welcome - nice to meet you. This program is great. I find myself staying on track because I have to come here and report it. Feel free to add me as a friend.
  • I don't have much to add that the others haven't except look at your sodium intake. The powerade drink alone has 200 cal. of sodium. That will add water weight for sure.
  • Support and motivation helps a lot. Feel free to add me as a friend. I'm here daily!
  • Welcome back. Like you, I've been here before. This time though I have my mind in the right spot and coming here daily has helped tremendously. Feel free to add me as your friend. Support is the key. You can do this.
  • You CAN do this! I know you can. I'll be here anytime for you. I've seen your determination and you've kept off 18 pds of the 25? you lost. You WILL do this. You go girl!

  • Do get one! That's how I got a lot of my miles was at work at the hospital.
  • I'm working as hard as I can.........lol
  • Thanks a lot for the help!
  • I've managed to walk a couple days. It's hard with all the snow on the ground. I'm determined though. What am I doing wrong? My ticker still shows I've done nothing! Eeeek.
  • Well I kind of blew the diet last night but enjoyed my time with an old friend. I'm back on track today though.
  • This is great. I'm going to say I'm in on it. I am recovering from pneumonia right now so have been very sedentary.
  • I am so happy to find this discussion. I've recently changed to working nights 7p - 7a in ICU. I've gained 5 pds. even though I am drinking a lot of water and eating healthy meals. I do well on my days off. What is a good eating "schedule"? I usually wake up around 3pm and have to be at work at 6:30pm. Is it possible that…
