Sorry about your last couple of rough years, I am glad you are up to feeling better now! Just glancing at your diary, I see this: up your water, eat less calories per sitting and add snacks. Also add a sodium tab on your diary because that can hinder weight loss too. Good luck, you can do this!

Agreed. Also a previous poster said that you are eating a lot of calories at one sitting, which is what I thought too. Just make a few changes and I bet you will see results! You can do this!

YES! Agreed!

yup!

I am sorry your parents aren't being very supportive of your efforts. Just keep up the good work, we are here to support you!

Well said.

You are doing well so far, don't give up. I have learned that sodium is SO evil when it come to losing weight, it really makes a huge difference. Subway has so much sodium in their meats. Maybe try a veggie sandwich with avocado when you eat there. You CAN do this =)

Just keep doing what works for you =) All that matters is your doc and trainer approving. =) I also don't eat my exercise cals back. Like someone else said, different strokes for different folks.

It's taken me 7 weeks so far and I am 3 pounds away. =) Now, I may go for more!

You have lost 9 pounds so far, that is way to great to give up on. Keep on going, you CAN do this!
-
That is a great "non scale victory" =)

Welcome aboard and congrats on the 11 pounds! Feels good doesn't it? Keep up the great work!

I weigh in only once a week. Personally, for me, If i am staying within calories and exercising, I know I will stay on track. Welcome and best of luck to you on your journey =)

Too funny =)

It's a shame that your wife is letting her insecurities try to hold back your effort to become healthy. I call BS on her, she is just jealous. Keep doing what you are doing, don't give up your health for anyone!

When I read your post, red flags waved. Only out of care for you and what you have been through, maybe this isn't the right thing for you. If you are going to continue with it, make sure your parents know your plan so that they can keep an eye on things in case you slip backwards. My tone in this post is that of care and…

Agreed! You can do it! =)

Drink lots of water and try to eat foods high in protein and fiber. You can do it and it will get easier.
-
Just keep going, you CAN do this! You are doing great already =)

The first couple of weeks are hard, your body is getting adjusted and you may feel weak, tired and hungry. Hang in there, I promise things will start to feel better!

I am a cyclist and the only time this happens to me is when it's cold out or because I have been in the same position too long without a break. Since you said your cycling wasn't continuous, I am betting its the cold. Also make sure the strap on your shoes isn't clicked too tight. To help with the cold, get shoe covers, I…

You are a ROCK STAR! Keep it up!

I completely agree. I also have to admit, I hate when people use the excuse "muscle weighs more than fat" as an answer to the scale not moving.

I am at 24.1 right now and when I reach my goal weight I will be between 22.9 - 21.9

Yay! I am in your club of 20 pound lost in 6 weeks. You look great!

Absolutely agree!
