Hi everyone, thanks for the responses! I have been at a health weight for most of my life. It is more of a mental thing and confidence boost, the idea of losing some weight. I find myself beating myself up too much over it and become a tad obsessive. 10 lbs is definitely pushing it.

Definitely speak to a doctor...as much as you'd like to think you're over the hump or can handle these feelings on your own, you can't. I thought the same thing a couple of years ago. I went to the doctor where I was prescribed medicine for depression and general anxiety which really helped. Also, make sure you eat...I…

Last year I worked a very physical job and frequently went up stairs throughout the day, lots of them. This past stair climb, I didn't practice stairs at all.…

I recently made a yummy lasagna with ricotta and mozzarella (both were either skim or low fat, I forget), ground turkey, and spinach. It was really delicious and much lighter. I sauteed the turkey with onions, garlic, etc. Bon apetit!

Hi there...I've always wondered about water weight... Silly question but WHAT is it exactly? And yes, how do you get rid of it?

Hi there! I usually do about 30 mins on the elliptical as well. There is an option on the elliptical at my gym to enter your weight, supposedly that better calculates how many calories you burn. I vary the levels during my elliptical workout to get my heart rate up and then slow it down...but I usually end up burning about…
