I have a snack drawer too! I normally keep my protein powder, shaker bottle, quest bars, jerky, and my fish oil and other supplements in there so I don't forget to take them with me. In my case, there's nothing worse than being unprepared because it may cause me to foul up on my diet and buy a snack >_<

As a lot of other have said, start NOW! I was horrified when I lost all the weight last time through cardio and eating at a deficit, I looked "skinny fat" as people put it.

The OP had good intentions, and her results are great! It's just that she didn't know how to express it properly/made a mistake. Correcting her multiple times and jumping on the situation doesn't help.

There's nothing wrong with a nice steak, i would probably opt for a leaner cut, just to save on calories. If it's grass fed, that's even better, lots of good fats, but I can't always afford grass fed because I buy half a cow when I do. Chicken and turkey get boring after a while, switch it up and enjoy :)

It's actually kind of nice that he said that, when my hubby told me the same thing I felt a little better about myself knowing he loved me how I am, but your goal is your goal. I second perky jerky, It's my guilty pleasure when i can afford to spend 5 bucks on a small bag, which is supposed to be 2 servings but I eat it in one :-D

Thanks for the replies, I do get sore for several days after full body routines, but it just would be nice to have more rest days as opposed to one. I really only do compound lifts and a few accessory lifts, I think I may try the 3x and see if I can handle it without crazy soreness.

Great post, I second this, I didn't see the results I wanted until I starting lifting heavy and cleaning up my diet, getting more protein, and maintaining a caloric deficit. I have a reaaallly similar story. Cardio is nice, but I think weights are the way to go, it makes you sexayyy. Way too much cardio and food restriction alone made me look like a bag of bones and fat!

I second washing with conditioner, its the only way to keep my curly hair hydrated and frizz free. Just buy a cheap bottle of conditioner like suave or tressemme just for that purpose, when you start to feel build up or dulling then shampoo that day.
