Dear Turkey Jerky Gurus of MFP,

Jack Link is probably the best one.

The "Perky Jerky" is ABSOLUTE TRASH.... DO NOT waste your money. It stinks, tastes like baking soda.

Do you eat buffalo / bison? Whole Foods has some really fantastic buffalo jerky that is low in fat and delicious.

Perky Turkey Jerky is really the best. Not sure how widely it is sold. No nitrates, or other artificial additives, great taste. It is expensive however.

Thanks a lot everyone. I searched almost every grocery store in my area - Perky Jerky ain't available. Wanted to try the taste.

I think since Jack Links is pretty popular around here (since easily available ) I'll go with it for now.

    Thanks again.
