  • I super like this idea!!!
  • I am on my second round of p90x and do not follow their nutrition guide. I just count my calories, stay between 1200-1300 per day, and do the workouts. I have had great success doing it this way!
  • I never do the yoga. I'm on day 56 of my second round and I always replace the yoga with the cardio x dvd. It has just about 10 mins of yoga (thats about all I can handle!) and a little bit of plyo, core, and kenpo...its a great workout. Try doing that one instead of the yoga dvd and see what you think! :)
  • I too get horrible shin splints when I run and take karate classes. The only thing that has worked for me is some ankle braces I got at Academy. They also carry some braces specifically for the shins...I use those too when they are especially bad. Hope this helps I know how painful and frustrating shin splints can be!!!
  • I get horrible shin splints as well, but I love to run on a treadmill. My solution was to get some ankle braces. For whatever reason, they totally work! I can run no problem with no pain in my ankles, shins, or knees.
  • I would get a heart rate monitor watch. I got mine from academy and you program in your weight, resting heart rate, age and other things. It tracks your heart rate while you work out and tracks your calories burned. That's the way I track my calories burned with p90x and Turbo Fire! Yeah I would say MFP is definitely under…
  • In week 1 of my second round of p90x...I promise you will see vast improvements in your strength and stamina. Just keep pushing play and do the best that you can do!
  • I'm doing Turbo Fire (her kicked up a notch program) and I absolutely love it. I'm 5 weeks in and it is definitely working, but not gonna lie...it's tough, especially the first couple of weeks. It is very dance-y kickboxing with great music. Here is a link to a video preview of Turbo Fire so you can see what it is all…
  • Excellent job!!!! Doesn't it make you feel great and in control?!?!
  • I am doing Turbo Fire with Charlene and I wear a heart monitor watch that calcs the calories out. I love Turbo Fire by the way!
  • I'm on my 3rd week of my 2nd round of p90x...I love it!!! Just do as much as you can (I guarantee it won't be as much as the people on the dvd's!) but who cares! And just press play everyday! The 1st 3 weeks are the hardest, and then you hit your first recovery week. and yay is that a great feeling!!! By the 5th week I was…

  • I am totally in love with p90x!!! I am on day 11 of my 2nd round. After seeing my results from my 1st round, I convinced my husband to join me on my 2nd round. Not going to lie...they are intense and the 1st 3 weeks are the hardest, but if you can push through and keep pushing play everyday you get addicted, plus you start…
