I agree you should repeat until you feel like you can move forward. I'm also overweight. Just over 200lbs and I know it makes it harder. I'm also scared about week 5. A 20 minute run seems impossible! BUT I'm REALLY want to do it. In some ways I think if 5 minutes was hard how will I do 20 next week?! Hopefully the program…

I run at a pretty slow pace but semi fast for me. I'm barley 5'3 and run at a 5mph pace on the treadmill. I hope your cold ends soon and you can complete the run!

Don't feel bad. I should be on week 7 by now. I repeated a week and went on vacation. I got back from vacation a little over a week ago and I'm finally back in a groove now. Oh and the 3 minutes weren't easy for me either. I just dug deep and pushed myself. You can do it!! I feel like this week is a big jump preparing us…

Woohoo! That's fun that your son is enjoying it too. My son is 13 months old so the only running we do together is with a jogging stroller. He's loves to go for walks though. I'm doing it with a good friend of mine and we push each other which is good. I'm signed up for a 5 mile race on Thanksgiving Day. :happy:

Congrats on finishing the C25K program! I can't wait for that day. I made it to week 5 just when I found out I was pregnant in Dec. of 2011. WOW! I thought I was busy.. I have one baby boy who just turned one for I'm now able to plan a workout schedule around his schedule which is pretty good. I also work almost full time which takes up a lot of time. I love being a mom but it does take up a lot of our extra workout time! haha..

I have exactly 10 weeks from today until Thanksgiving when I will be running/walking in a 5 miles run. I know I won't be able to run the whole thing but being able to run a few miles straight would make me feel SO good!

I'M IN! I have 50 to lose after having my son 11 months ago. I was overweight to begin with and now I really need to lose weight asap! I'd love to be at least 40lbs slimmer by Christmas! : )

Good plan! That's kinda was I was thinking too. I'm going to go for it and see what happens. Hopefully tonight after hubby gets home to watch my little one. I hate the winter! Too cold to run outside.. Especially with a baby.

How did I go for you? I just finished up Week 5/Day 2 today and it was hard but I did it. Makes me super worried about the BIG 20 minute run on Sat. How can we go from 8 min. to 20?!?

You are my role model! My son is almost 4 months and I've lost 25 of the 35 I gained with pregnancy & I have more to lose because I was overweight when getting pregnant. Do you mind me asking if your breast feeding and how many calories you eat/ate to lose the weight? You look amazing & you have a beautiful family!

Wow! You are my roll model.. My son is 3 months and I'm having trouble losing the weight. I'm stuck at 195 and have been for a while now. My goal is a size 4 and I'm a 14 nlw. Thanks for sharing your story. :)

I start week 4 tomorrow and I'm excited about it but hope I do well. I had to repeat week 2 though.. It's not bad to repeat weeks. Just move on when your ready. BUT seriously.. What is up with Week5/Day3?! Super Scary!

YAY! I'm happy to see that there are so many new people starting it up! I'm going into week 4 tomorrow and for someone who was dying the first day I can now run 3 minutes straight with no problem. I can't wait to make that 30+ minutes! : )

Edimew- That is AWFUL that you were ever laughed at. I can't imagine anyone laughing at someone for how slow they are. I mean anyone getting out there to better themselves just needs encouragement. I hope you can keep getting out there even if it is on the treadmill. I'm sorry anyone ever treated you that way. Puddle- Yay…

Congrats!! I can't wait to graduate. It doesn't matter if you do it in under a 10min mile as long as your moving! :)
