I don't know if you have a Trader Joe's near you, but I was just there today with my sister who is eating gluten free. They have several pages of items that they sell that are gluten free and on their price tags for each it there is a "g" if it is gluten free. This made it very east for us to see what she could buy. I…

I saw may doctor on Wednesday. It went well, he upped my pressure to 10, told me that I am down to 9 events an hour and that due to my teeny tiny mouth, throat and nasal passages that I am probably a lifer for the machine no matter how much I lose. Kind of a bummer but if I feel better I will be grateful.

My doctor (not an endo) told me that I wouldn't really start feeling better until six months after we got my levels in balance and i have found that to be accurate. So I would add to the other info you have to not expect to feel better after just a couple of months, there is a lot of damage done. It sucks, but hopefully…

I'm just 5 days in. I have an appointment to go over complete test results with doctor on the 21st. I'm hoping that they will want to read my data card at that time as well so I will know how I am doing and what I need to try to work on. Last night was really not a good night. Hoping tonight will be better.

I have been using my CPAP for five nights now, I am glad to read that it has helped many of you. I'm still learning. Did not sleep well last night and I suspect that my mask wasn't on properly.

This is going to be a very helpful thread for getting good ideas on what to eat. Thanks to everyone who has answered the call.

Be careful going untreated for hypothyroidism. I went undiagnosed for a number of years and got so sick that it has taken me well over a year to get to feeling better. I was so incredibly sore that I could barely walk, my tongue swelled as did my hands and feet, I was exhausted, had bad brain fog and gained a lot of…

Glad I saw this topic today - my plan is to ride the exercise bike today twice. I can't believe I am saying that!

Didn't see the performance, saw a photo of her on the red carpet and found it completely offensive.

I am awaiting a sleep study and am glad to read the advice to recheck after 40 to 50 pounds lost.

I need to check these out, don't know why it never occurred to me as they have an app for everything it seems.
-
Awesome job, congrats to you!

I need to reflect on this, so I'm glad this topic was set up. I'll be interested to see what everyone decides to do.

Prior to me getting really sick with what ultimately ended up being hypothyroidism, my rings used to be really loose on my fingers. If it hadn't been for my knuckle size I would have been afraid of them falling off. Now the rings are snug but I am sure when all the weight is off, they will twirl around my fingers again.…

Terrible inflammation here. I have just been able to put my wedding ring back on after a little over a year of having it off because my hands swelled so badly and I have ankles now also. My doctor told me from the beginning of my diagnosis that I would start feeling better six months from the time my levels got balanced.…

So funny that I would first of all find this group today, I don't know why I didn't think about looking for a Hypo group and then would see this topic. Anyway, I went to the doctor today for my 3 month checkup. I've been on Synthroid upped to 112 mg since October. In January, I finally felt like exercising again, yeah! but…

I am on Synthroid 112 mg. Was raised to that in October. Just got my blood test results and my T4 Free is 1.5 ng/dL and my TSH is .15 which is low. I feel good though so she is going to retest in three months until I start have hyper symptoms. I take my medication at about 4 in the morning when I always seem to wake up…

When I am at the gym on the treadmill, I listen to an audio Bible. I am listening to it in chronological order. I'm going to check out the podcast mentioned by an earlier poster for something different.

My word to live out this year is Consistency. This topic of Just For Today, fits right into my theme for this year. Just For Today, I will be Consistent in what I do. For today that meant that despite the fact that the wind was blowing fiercely, it was 19 degrees and the snow was falling, I put on my exercise gear, took my…
