Bum! And forearms.

1200 calories is too low for 194lbs plus exercise. Bump it up to 1400.

Bump

A minimum of 3 weeks after any change.

I have PF in both feet. Just find something you can do. I use a stationary bike. I also make sure I ALWAYS wear supportive footwear. Remember the only thing required for losing weight is a calorie deficit, if you need to take a break from exercise to heal- do it. Or find something that doesn't hurt your feet

Drool worthy. Thank you!:drinker:

It's a stimulant. It *can* cause all kinds of health issues (mainly heart related). Why not just lose weight the boring way? Eat less and move more. Losing weight is never the issue, keeping it off is. Without changing your actual eating habits, you'll gain it all back anyways. Cocaine and meth are cheaper. Me personally?…

 She did this:

Start with 10 minute trainer or t25 with modifiers

I get 100-200% of my daily's from a multi-vitamin and a run of the mill protein shake with food. 30% would be a waste of my money. Hell, a slim fast shake has more.

Bumping for knowledge. And to remind me to weight my eggs in the morning because now I'm curious!
-
Bump to try, thanks!

:drinker:  Spit out my tea.

PCOS can be managed/helped long term by a lower carb diet and metformin to control blood sugar. People will always gain the weight back if they go back to eating the way they did before. I would suggest a dietician/endocrinologist to help you come up with a workable (and healthy) plan.
-
I wouldn't worry about the long term, I'd worry about it taking out my heart in the short term. You only have 55lbs left to lose, easily do able even with PCOS. You simply need to eat slightly less than the average calorie deficit. Edited to add: Cardiovascular side effects include palpitations, tachycardia, and elevation…

BMI is grossly inaccurate in people who are muscular.
-
Well shoot. Here I though I gained weight from eating too much. The dry scaly skin will be so worth it! :drinker:

Pulse is high, could be palpitations. A chest xray would rule out a Pulmonary embolism, not sure how much they cost. But chest pain, palpitations and shortness of breath are PE symptoms.
-
I hide under my blankets sobbing into a pint of Ben and Jerrys. Not. Of course I exercise! Why would you not? It helps cramps.
-
Could be heart issues, blocked arteries, angina, anxiety. Could also be stomach issues. I have GERD and an ulcer, which cause pain across my chest. But- you need to rule the urgent stuff out- like tomorrow. Good luck.

That's too little to eat for your size. You're only taking in 900 calories that way.
-
Great list, thanks!

Weight loss doesn't happen at a consistent rate per week. Give it 3 weeks before adjusting anything. I don't lose weekly. I will lose a lb, gain 2, then suddenly lose 4 lbs 2 weeks later. Look at the average, not the week (unless you know you've been going overboard). Edited to add: Any time you add or change exercise, you…

That is weird! Something totally out there- but what kind of sick? I'm wondering if maybe you have carbon monoxide in your house? That could make you sick, especially with rapid breathing
-
You don't have a lot to lose, you are not going to lose 1.5 lbs a week.
-
I second the above. It's not very exciting, and it doesn't need a fad diet book- but it works. Create a calorie deficit, and eat foods that fit within it. Exercise is a bonus.

Kelly Coffey and Cathe Friedrich are good ones. A little tougher than Jillian, but more knowledgeable.
