What an amazing difference at 30 pounds!!! Congrats on your success!!

My husband and son will be gone for almost an entire week in July - I intend to spend as much "guilt-free" time at the gym as I want.

My 11 year old son, Alex, is an extremely sweet and sensitive little guy - although he thinks it's a riot to play with my "teacher arms" he's generally very supportive of me and my weight/figure/appearance. He even tries to "eat healthy" like me when it appeals to him and always asks how my workout was. Just a couple of…

Why can't we discuss something else?

That's reasonable - I used to be the same way. I had to train myself to eat breakfast. It used to give me heartburn if I ate first thing, but then again, that was probably related more the food choices than anything.

Debbie!! OMG! What an inspiration you are! Amazing - so happy for you. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

I vote second - Hottie WifeNMama!

@Timremlinger - kids and shades. Adorable!

This would certainly explain my sudden drop from 158 to 155 in 3 days. Only took the bod three solid weeks of fully-focussed diet and and exercise to adjust.

Rest days make me feel guilty, but I do take them - occasionally I'll do a short yoga video or goof off with the Wii Fit, but I almost always have at least one full rest day a week, sometimes two. Never more than that though. This is mostly because I don't want to break my routine . . . that always seems to be my downfall…

Awesome - glad you were able to clear the air! Love the shirt, by the way.

Just picked up some Premier Nutrition ready-to-drink protein shakes. 160 calories, 3 grams fat, 6 carbs (3 fiber), and 30 grams of protein. They are quite tasty too. You can get a pack of 18 for about $25 at Costco. I drink them post workout though; not as a "meal replacement".

At first I recorded gains, but found that equally frustrating so I just stuck with whatever it said until I got below that again. I like to stay in "progress" mode. That way I'm always assuming it will go back down, and down more.

Well, my Tuesday was okay - but I plan on having an awesome Wednesday! FINALLY some movement on the scale . . . I removed the "status update" for weight so it's slightly less frustrating when I weigh-in, get love, and then it goes back up. :ohwell: (guilt complex) As of this morning I'm down to 155.4 - I checked it…

Not only do the clothes fit, they fit better - much more flattering figure!! Way to go!!

Worked on my iPhone

I filled it all out - nothing. Refresh page, try again - nothing. May be our security measures on the computer system - I will forward the link to my personal email and try later. Thanks for sharing!!

Nothing shows up in the box when I try this . . . :frown:

Also doing this ^^ (complete novice) Still in stage 1, but I now know that prefer lifting to cardio (even though I do that too) - no measurable results yet other than I can tell I'm stronger and am finally able to complete 3 reps of 8 REAL push-ups with decent form. And everytime I stretch I feel a little soreness…

I can totally relate - just started watching my sodium. It's tough when you need your meals and snacks to be quick and convenient.

I'm having a heck of a time . . . Age 33 5'3" sw 162 cw 156 gw 127

You're the closest I've found thus far . . . Age: 33 Height: 5'3" SW: 162 CW: 156 GW: 127 (maybe a tad lower)

1. Take control of my sodium 2. Complete Stage 1 and begin Stage 2 of NROL4W 3. Stick with my 3x/wk strength and cardio (except my "rest week" between stages) - maybe some push-ups and incline or swill ball crunches that week . . . 4. Fit into last summer's khaki shorts (I gotta have something to wear to Todd's baseball…

Dear God, no!! I'd flip out!! I drink a cup during my 45 minute commute EVERY morning . . . and then another cup once I get here. The venting friend walk actually sound pretty awesome - if I were still near my friends, I have a feeling that would be a ritual . . . and knowing us, we'd probably burn A LOT of calories doing…
-
And Benny . . . I forget the full version of that one . . .
-
You forgot Toddles . . .
-
I don't know that everyone is familiar with our poor friend JR's Zumba debacle . . . And Debbie, BishopSmurf is technically Todd, but he goes by many other monikers . . . Bishop does happen to be the most frequently used.

I may have to go with Buff+ this week since my mom would be offended were I to interrupt her visit with my workout schedule. :ohwell: I just started tracking sodium and it's pretty ugly - perhaps I will make my goal to stay within my sodium limits 5 out of 7 days . . . is that dumb? If I say the ENTIRE week I fear I will…
