  • When we burried our pet hamster my mum said to bury it in a box and place a slab of rock on top and then lay all the dirt on, otherwise foxes and cats will smell it and dig it up ... just an FYI.
  • An article saying that no bad health effects against Sucarlose have been proven http://www.medicinenet.com/artificial_sweeteners/page9.htm An article stating that Stevia is illegal to buy in Europe and is restricted in the US because it causes infertility and "mutation" :noway:…

  • I think too much fibre has an adverse affect and causes constipation eventually - I know this from experience! xx
  • Im a complete mango addict, I dig into the flesh with my nails and peel it off real easy and without waste in seconds, then i eat around the stone like you would a peach. To cut it off and make smoothies i would probs dig at it with a spoon after peeling? x

  • I started this post a few days ago http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/287652-what-uk-places-provide-nutritional-info
  • Is the end of the week, this time next week? Also do we tell you our weight and kcal burn but it wont be until a week after that when we'll see the spreadsheet? x Edit: See the spreadsheet = reveal the results.
  • There was a newspaper article saying that a sticky toffee pudding at a Mitchells & Butlers pub (sourced by Brakes Bros.) is estimated at 700kcals a portion by a nutritional investigator. There's a reason why they dont want to share the info - I really wish it was illegal and then I wouldnt need to carry around a restaurant…
  • I actually live and work in a gastro pub with my fiance. There is no nutritional information available for our chain online but I can work out the ingredients easily because I am able to weigh the ingredients and pair them together with information available on the internet or supermarket packets for the same items.…
  • OMGEEEE! TOBY CAVERY! My life is complete! ... just need to carry my kitchen scales in my handbag hahaha Turns out that Harvester are one of the first UK restaurants to print the kcals on the menu! So you dont need to have internet access to know what you're allowed  Went shopping today and noticed I forgot to…
  • Thanks for being my first contributer  I think you can update the thread, but im not sure how long for ... I have checked back on older posts of mine before and noticed the edit button had dissappeared!? Edit: Nope - you can't :-( you was correct! x
  • I'm exactly the same, I've got a 28 inch waistline (size 12 in tees) and 46 inch hips (size 16 bottoms) I've lost plenty of weight and my waist just keeps getting narrower. I'm sure its coming off my hips but at a snails pace ... the only thing I am hoping for is that when I am closer to my goal, that it starts…
  • Well, when I woke up one morning with boobs that had grown over night, i spent my entire teenage years not being able to wear a v-neck or anything remotely lower than a neckline because of severe stretchmarks that lasted ages .... not just older ladies ya know!

  • Well no-one wants em, but we've got them for life so its best to deal with it, because theres no cure. The red ones fade down to clear ones after half a year anyways. xx

  • Have you ever had Gourmet Burger Kitchen Coleslaw? Its A-MAZING! GBK Homeslaw, The Antipodean way - cabbage, spring onions, carrot, celeriac & mustard vinaigrette
  • Yeah I dont log the stock, the stock is virtually calorie less. Its anything else that you add to it before serving that I would log.
  • p.s. I bought a set of 2x 1.5lb dumbells, 2x 3lbs dumbells and 2x 5lb dumbells from Sports Direct for £9.99 :-)
  • I used 2x 3lb dumbells and if I found it easier I would pick up the 2x 5lb dumbells I had to one side. You do arm raises and dumbell rows so I dont think using wrist weights is a great idea.
  • I would say it doesnt matter so much, I work til 2am and get up at noon. Ignore the times for a second and just split your meals up. I find it helps to decide the night before what you're going to eat the next day (obvs you can chop & change later if your tastebuds fancy different). Brekkie - largest meal ASAP because this…
  • I know that sugar helps the yeast grow, but I'm just guessing here: You know the adverts on TV for Cannesten duo (the stuff that cures feminine itching  ), they have an oral pill now right!? Seeing as thrush is just another form of candida, I dont see how the oral pill wouldn't cure the stomach infection too??
  • So avoid ALL foods basically LOL. I've heard yoghurt is good for candida as it is pH balancing - the natural unsweetened one of course.
  • Thats great news! And Congratulations on the bubba! I wonder if you plateaued because you was infact eating less than you thought!? Hmmmm xx
  • I signed up to it and then decided to do my research after (like a fool). The only reason it works at first is because it contains a natural laxative and causes severe stomach cramps. You'll put the weight back on and then some, plus be bloated all of the time. But more importantly, Cho-Yung tea is a well known internet…
  • I personally subtract all the sugar coming from fruit and vegetables, after that I have my sugar intake. I think MFP means to restrict the refined sugars, not the naturally occuring ones
