tuna melt! i mix tuna with about 4tbsp of hummus and seasonings, pile onto 2 pieces of toast and top with cheese then back into the toaster. not the "healthiest" but under 600 calories!

I'd love to join in!

I find I like having something sweet to look forward to, so I plan ahead to factor in a treat.
-
ooh I love the flips. my fave is the peach one with dark chocolate & pistachio!

I like to make smoothies with protein powder. I'm using Pure Protein which has 25g protein per scoop. Take some leafy greens like kale or spinach, a whole banana, some frozen fruit, scoop of powder, dollop greek yogurt (plain nonfat), and chia seed. Blendy blendy blend. I have been liking adding chia seed because it has a…

The only way I can reach my protein goal is usually with a scoop of protein powder. Go for it! Check labels, look at the macros and sugar in each scoop to determine what is best for you.

I started 2 weeks ago at 259lbs and have lost 5lbs so far. I have gone through this journey before, in 2012 I used MFP and went from 250 to 180 in about 9 months. I'm determined to reach that weight and go even lower this time.. and keep it off! I'd love to friend anyone who is in a similar position. OT: I love people who…

I've noticed when you first add a friend and the request is approved, I can't comment or like until the following day. So weird.

I'm not the scientific side of MFP but my macros are 45%c / 30%f / 25%p for a goal of 101g of protein a day. For my weight that's .4g/lb.
-
I usually just wing my smoothies based on what fruit I have on hand. Today it was: 2 cups spinach 1 whole banana some frozen strawberries in lieu of ice cubes protein powder (I would suggest a higher quality powder, the slimfast ones tend to have more carbs than protein, and in a smoothie you're getting enough carbs from…

I weigh every 3-4 days but try to only log it once per week.

I have about 110 to lose and I'm 4lbs in. I would love to add others in a similar position. <3

I don't understand the hype. I'd rather go to Qdoba and not stand in a ridiculous line, still get similar food, and have it be not loud and crowded by college kids.
-
I use it in cooking or in my coffee but to drink a pint glass like I used to is too many calories for me. I would rather eat my calories in the case of milk. I do still consume dairy products like cheese and yogurt though.
-
I pre-log my meals and make something sweet fit in my calories and macros every day. I get to eat a bar of dark chocolate every night and still see a loss weekly. You may need to make healthier swaps during the day to do it but for me it's worth it.
-
Yep, echoing what others have said. I pre-log my food and I always factor in a snack at night. It's almost always chocolate. No ragrets.
-
I'd love to get to 40/30/30 but I struggle with protein unless I use a powder supplement. My goals right now are 45c/30f/25p.

A can of tuna is like 100 calories. Instead of mayo you can sub a mix of greek yogurt and hummus for more protein and lower fat/calories. Serve on greens. I add additional salt-free spices for added flavor.
-
I almost always make sure I have enough calories for chocolate at night while I'm reading, although it's best to brush your teeth after sweets before going to sleep.

I'd love to add anyone serious about this journey. I lost 70lbs using MFP about 3 years ago and fell off the wagon after a lot of life changes. Now I've gained it all back (I know the blame is all my own self) and am determined to get back into it. I started back about a week ago at 259lbs and am looking to lose at least…

Baltimore, MD!

Yep I fell off the wagon for a long time and I'm back and ready to WORK. Anyone, feel free to add me!

Hopefully the pisture shows up, I tried drag & drop for the first time. Tuna salad made with 1 can tuna, 3tbsp veggie hummus, 2tsp yellow mustard, plus onion & garlic powder, black pepper and lemon pepper seasoning. Served on an open faced multigrain sandwich thin with baby spinach and sliced tomato. 331 calories, 36g…

Alexander Skarsgard, Chris Hemsworth, James Franco, Jon Hamm, Evan Peters, Joe Manganiello, Paul Rudd.. the list is way too long lol.

I started making tuna salad with 1 can tuna, 3tbsp veggie (or other flavor) hummus, and yellow mustard. Added a healthy amount of onion powder, garlic powder, cracked black pepper, and lemon pepper seasoning. I like mine on sandwich thins with baby spinach and sliced tomato on top. Super delicious and filling. The whole…

I love chickfila. I always order off the kids menu. Only 2 less nuggets, still filling and way cheaper than an adult meal. I can't give my my chickfila sauce even though the calories are outrageous.

I'm using pure protein brand powder. Each scoop only has 2g sugar and 8g total carbs. At least the vanilla flavor. Other notable nutritional info: 25g protein, 3g fat, 150 calories per scoop. I like it a lot and it's pretty affordable. I don't have diabetes so I can't speak about any experience there.
-
I'll welcome any and all new friends here. I especially love people who have a public food diary because I'm a creep lol.

About 70. :)
