it's really just one day at a time. if you screw up one day, keep it to that one day and get back to it the next. set small goals not necessarily around weight.

drinking a lot of water will make your weight fluctuate a bit from day to day but i wouldn't say that missing the 2 extra glasses a day is causing the problem. it certainly doesn't hurt to have lots of water though.
