On my second time around on MFP and this time I added friends. It has really helped to have a community of people who are going through the same ups and downs as you do. I'm happy to add friends and offer encouragement. I post daily, restarted back in May, am 41 and have lost nearly 30 pounds! Good luck and let's go get it!

I gave up in the past and eventually gained all the weight I lost. Giving up cannot be an option because that means being unhealthy, dying earlier and not being able to do things I want to do. Not to mention being proud of how I look and not ashamed! Eating fun foods changes by definition when you've trained your mindset…

I love my wife and I'm attracted to her but as she loses weight, I'm even more attracted to her! With love comes attraction but as said above, attraction is physical too. I'd challenge your SO to not compare you against what may be attractive and to be supportive in you getting fit for you.

If your husband isn't interested in exercising, see if he can watch your baby while you work out. For me, I'd go over goal many days if it weren't for my daily exercise. Plus, after having worked out, you don't want to "waste" it by eating bad so it's a win/win situation! My advice would be to add exercise. No excuses,…

Agreed with Branstin, you can't target areas of the body for weight loss. Your body reduces in size proportionally. If you are bulking muscle in targeted areas, that could hide the loss of fat tho.
