Thanks for your replies. I have spoke to my friend who is currently studying sports & fitness. He said that its probably due to having weak quad muscles. I am going to try & strenthen them up with some exercises first as the only time i get pain is when im doing squats. If it doesnt get better then i will go to doctors :)

Yeh 1 of the reasons i want it is because it tells you if you are wrong & i joined a gym last september & within 2months i had shin splints & a pulled tendon lol

Thanks for your replies. I think i have quite a good approach (i suppose i could be better). Its just very dis-heartening when you are making an effort going to gym/classes & eating better & nothing is coming off :cry:
