Hey y'all! My name is Laulea and I'm soo down to lose weight for summer! I wanna be able to rock a bikini on the beach haha. So my CW is 163lbs and I wanna be at 140lbs. I really want to keep myself accountable so I've made a spreadsheet for this group in case anyone else wants to track your weekly weigh-ins with me. I'm…

I only "like" exercise when it's an exercise I actually enjoy. For example, like others have said, I'm not a runner. I hate running, but I absolutely love TurboKick and Kickboxing classes. When those aren't available I try changing it up, going to yoga or zumba. If I must, I stay on the elliptical for 30 to 60 minutes. It…

Oh My Gosh! :frown: I'm so incredibly scared to get my Mirena removed after reading all these posts! I've been wanting to take it out for a while since I've had it for like three years, but I've just been putting it off. When it was put in, that was the most uncomfortable feeling I have ever endured! I'm so scared to see…

Amazing read, thanks for posting!

I use my iPod for music because I don't want to kill my iPhone battery :P And I have a Heart Rate Monitor with a chest strap that shows how many calories I burn(great investment!), once I'm done with my workout, I log the workout and cals burned into the MFP App. As for where to place your things, there's usually a place…

Sounds like you're doing awesome. Just be patient and keep going, you'll see the results. And if you're doing weight training, don't be too focused on the scale. Try measuring yourself rather than weighing. The fat will come off, slowly but surely! Keep it up!

M - F I usually have a breakfast shake because I'm pressed for time. I throw some spinach or kale in the shakes to get some phytonutrients in there too. They're yummy, 20+ oz and usually only ~350 calories! :)

Amazing job!!

GYM MUST HAVES: Shoes, Workout clothes, iPod (or any mp3 device), earphones, Water bottle, HRM to show how many calories are being burnt, cell phone just in case, and sweat towel (unless gym provides towels). Those are my gym must haves :)

No, I used to at my old gym, but now the water is included in my rent, and I live close to the gym.. So I just walk home and shower. If you wanna cut some bill expenses, go for it! :) Another reason why I don't is because old asian ladies walk around in the locker room completely naked like it's their house, and I'm just…

Wow, that video is so powerful. Although I don't believe being obese is healthy at all, it's her life and her choices. I don't see how anyone could have the heart to send that message to her. As for myself, I am obese. It really hit me when I got to 200 lbs that it's not okay. I was slowly but literally killing myself. And…

I agree, thank you for posting this! I've seen so many people post rude, demeaning, and sarcastic comments to people's questions. I hope they realize that it isn't okay.

I love TurboJam and TurboFire! Maybe you will too :)

Amazing! Great work, girly! I'm definitely going to study up on how to lift (correctly). :flowerforyou:

I weigh myself at the same time every morning, and my weight fluctuates up and down each day. But overall, my weight is going down. Just keep going, you're doing good!

mostly vegan (I fall short and eat eggs/dairy sometimes, rarely though)
-
I would wish for more time to workout and more money to buy healthy food :)

Outraged  lol enjoy one for me!

This helped me decide on what to eat to fulfill my calories. Also, junk food usually doesn't have the essential nutrients that your body needs.

I'm a new vegan, started two months ago. Sometimes I fall short and eat something made with milk or egg :/ but I try my hardest to avoid them. I feel great since becoming vegan! Feel free to add me :flowerforyou:

I've been vegan for 2 months now, so fairly new to it. I love it so far, I feel healthy and I don't feel guilty about eating animal products. Feel free to add me, I'd love more vegan friends too :flowerforyou:

Try eating more smaller meals throughout the day. Like eat half a regular size lunch at lunch time then the other half couple hours later. And drink lots of water and have healthy snacks with you. This seems to keep me from snacking on everything when I get home :)
