Does it work?

I have to agree, you're being ridiculous. Most days I eat 2200-3000 cals and NOT gain anything, because I do strength training (plus I have a physical job) everyday there is no real need to restrict myself to below 2000 cals.

High five :)

From my experience the only right result is after you wake up and have a poo. Both conditions have to be met. In the afternoon you're usually after food so it's not a good time.

Weight training is not there to burn calories during the workout, you're misunderstanding the whole thing. When you weight train you burn more calories throughout the day AFTERWARDS. Under circumstances that you eat appropriate.

I don't eat it, I use it for dry skin and to minimize stretch marks, works wanders.

Wow it's really inspiring, great work

You're sacrificed too much to give up now.

Not true, 150lbs person burns around 60 calories per mile, from HRM statistics and Runmeter, both of which are most accurate out there.

I try to log the whole meal for all people, then split calories as to how much I eat, eg 1/4 or 1/5 of the whole and note it.

Buy little cans of tuna, each day a can of tuna and you're set.

I am at 1200 atm, but I eat my exercise/work calories back on some days, so it can come up to 2500 once a week. But 1200 is not too little it depends on your activity level, you height, weight and body build. My MMR is around 1550, so deficit to 1200 is fine with me and seems to work fine, even too slow I'd say..

Just eat ONE potato per meal? Max two, depends on calorie space you have.

That's your problem right over there, it's not about week's total, it's about DAYS TOTAL, if you eat like a pig one day a week you've just wasted 7 days of dieting, unless you burn the calories.

Open diary here. although I am not a perfect dieter and have cheat days (beware, you've been warned). :)

Thanks guys, as of now I am set as Very Active, due to work and workouts on my non work days. Although I have set up my own calorie goal to lose weight. I do log my work days just to see calorie expenditure.

There are some, just scattered around the site ;) I'm from Surrey.

If you can handle it and not burn out then do it everyday. I do it when I feel I can, mostly everyday, but I take a day break when I feel my body needs to recover.

Go with HRM, that's what I do, plus I deduct calories for my BRM for workout time, which leaves me with calories I have burned for sure and can eat back if I want to. But that's just me ;)

Dear ..... I knew people were eating these things but as long as I haven't seen them .... such a hunger KILLER!

Go to your food journal and click "View Full Report (Printable)" it's an orange button at the left bottom, you can print each day you need that way. Hope that helps.

- Smaller thigh/arm/waist/hips measurement - Getting your muscles to do more than day before ! - Buying smaller sized clothes - Having someone tell you "you got ripped!" or similar :D

Different stuff works for different people, what works best for me: - Before run warm up is walking then faster walking and then running / jogging - No food before running, not too much water either (as I don't want to end up with toilet problem) - No food for at least 1 hour after workouts (running and strength), after…

I too think it's awesome and love results and progress pics no matter if they're clothed or partly :D

Run again when the pain is completely gone. I'd walk a lot though, to get muscles moving most the time, usually walking helps me to recover faster.

I've had similar problem. I tracked what I ate and I came to conclusion that RAW onion caused this, so I only eat well cooked onion anymore and have no problems. I really had pains with these migraines, a killer once I had one it lasted for days without break and it wasn't caused by periods. Try looking into which food you…
