Did you buy unflavored? No tips really. I just chug mine down as fast I can. I dislike protein powder in every flavor/brand but you gotta do what you gotta do. I have at least one shake a day.
-
I just stick to weights in the gym. I will do the occasional indoor waking class (elliptical) though... maybe once every month.
-
If I am not eating junk food I find it hard to get to my calorie goal. In order to reach it sometimes I'll eat something high cal but healthy... like nuts. I'm doing a clean bulk right now so maybe that's why. Purposely eating over my TDEE to gain muscle but with no junk, chips, cakes, etc. So it's quite hard!
-
I personally don't think it's a good idea. Depending on how many calories you eat a day 200 can be a lot and you'll be missing out on the proper nutrition you need. Plus, I think it's best to fix the problem... not make special room for it.
-
It definitely depends on a lot of other things than size. I lift heavy 6 days a week (my goal is muscle growth) with a 5km walk everyday. Plus one or two intense cardio sessions a week. I weigh 110lbs (50kg) and I'm 5'2. I eat around 1800 calories a day.
-
I try to aim for 45-50% protein in my days calories. I get about 160g protein a day which is a little over 3 times my body weight (in kg).

Me! :)

Yes, that is what I'm saying. You need to weigh each ingredient separately. Edit: You don't need to weigh each ingredient per serving... you can do the entire thing, cook it then weigh it again and divide it evenly into servings.
-
You need to weigh everything with a kitchen scale.

It's not "bad" but most cereal isn't good for you either, packed with a lot of unnecessary/not healthy sugar. Breakfast is usually oatmeal/eggs/quark for me.
-
Well as to the heart rate stuff... everyone can train their "heart" to be "better" and you must just handle hard exercises better than her. The more out of shape you are the higher the heart rate and therefore the more calories you burn. Hence why she has to take a lot of breaks too. So really, it's not strange at all.

I go for 1200 a day regardless or how much exercise. I might go up to 1500 but never more than that.
-
I haven't finished it yet... done a week so far and already seeing results!
-
I've been doing it since this past week. Feel free to add me for support anyways. :)
-
It sounds about right to me. I have a Polar FT7 and when working out hard I tend to burn about 10 calories a minute... sometimes more.
-
5 days a week. Strengthening 40-50 mins and Cardio 20-40 mins.
-
In my experience MFP underestimates them by ALOT according to my heart rate monitor (Polar FT7).
-
I would LOVE to do this in the future... I mentioned it to my boyfriend once, he didn't seem comfortable with the idea so we will have to just wait and see. If he really didn't want me to do it then no I wouldn't. Having someone else's child is a big deal so I would never do it without his permission.
-
I just got the Polar FT7 and loving it so far! I got it at a store here in Sweden costed around 140 US Dollars... things are way more expensive here.
-
Are you washing the strap enough?
-
I'm 20. :) Anyone can feel free to add me. I love supporting people!
-
Great work ladies!
-
I was away the past few days so I haven't logged anything but otherwise I log daily! Feel free to add me for support. :)
-
No, it doesn't matter if you do it before or after the 30 Day Shred... if you mean doing both in the same day. If you mean completing the 30 Day Shred then starting up cardio... then I think you should reevaluate it and consider doing both at the same time.
-
Yes, agree with this completely.
-
Awesome! You look fantastic! :)

But again... no one is telling you how much soda you can have! They're just telling you can't have as much as you want for FREE at a restaurant!
-
The fact that people would even get upset over banning free refills is just beyond me. It is certainly not the end of the world and believe me you will survive. If you are so desperate for more soda just buy another. I just don't see the big deal at all. You're so upset about the government regulating this, you want free…
-
But it is the governments responsibility to take care of their people... and soda is extremely unhealthy. They're not saying he can't have a refill... just that he cannot have a FREE refill.
-
Where I live most restaurants don't allow free refills. They don't sell drinks any bigger than the American sized Medium either. You are more than welcome to purchase another drink though. I don't see anything wrong with banning free refills. If you want more than pay for it? They're not telling you that you can't have…
