This can't be right. How to adjust HRM?

I just tried my Polar FT7 out for the first time. It says in 19 minutes of Zumba I burned 201 calories. There's no way that's right. I know Zumba is intense but still, I don't want to overeat my exercise calories. I'm doubting this mostly because I think I have a slightly higher resting heart rate than normal since my blood pressure is low. My resting was 80 bpm when I was testing it out last night. Is there a way to adjust what your HRM thinks is your resting rate and therefore what your target rate should be? Or am I over thinking this and it's right?

If you were sweating and your heart rate was high, I would bet that's right.

If I'm working really really hard I burn about 14calories a minute, according to all the heart rate and metabolic testing I've done.

On an average workout I shoot to burn at least 11 a minute. 200 calories in 19 minutes is reasonable for me. If you're in a lot better shape than me, then maybe not though.

It sounds about right to me. I have a Polar FT7 and when working out hard I tend to burn about 10 calories a minute... sometimes more.

I am the same age as you all, so maybe this is right. It might sound silly but I guess I just never thought it could be that easy to burn so many calories. I was definitely sweating and ready to die at some points but Zumba makes it kind of fun. Hmmm.... now that I can get accurate measurements there's more motivation to workout
