was diagnosed with PCOS and was told if I didn't lose the weight, I wouldn't be able to have children. I was fourteen at the time and over 400lbs its 10 years later and I'm 192. Still a way to go, but I'm getting there :) xx

i say no, i dont work it off conciously, which is how i got to weigh so much in the first place, but thats my personal way of doing things. Do whats right for you and your weight loss journey x
-

Absolutely, i agree 1200 is not for everyone, however my personal reasons are for a medical condition I have called pcos and i'm very short, which is why i'm on this diet. My qualms of this thread is the lack of encouragement and support for those of us who do need to be on this deficit. Also my argument is that this…

Nor is aggression, or assuming that all 1200 calorie uses are "ignorant" and name calling. Surely the larger of us get called names enough in real life. Also if you consider this to be "ill education" then wait until someone asks for help. People only want to change for themselves not for others, also this type of post and…

Wow, its outstanding how negative everyone is on a support website. Someone's journey is to be supported not heckled, if those of our myfitnesspal family decide something for themselves then we should support them, and give advice when it is asked for x
-
I think this very bizaare anti 1200 thing is a little odd and just not very nice. Instead of attempting to make fun of your fellow fitness pal's why not offer support. This site was created so people on similar journeys could support each other, not poke fun, as fatties surely we get enough of that in everyday life. To…

hey, my motivation is my mini goal treat, my mini goal is to lose 20lbs. I've lost 7lbs so far, when i reach my goal i get to visit my bestfriends in Bristol, which is the other side of the country. These people are the sweetest, kindest and fun people i've had the pleasure of knowing, i kind of live and breathe for them.…

Agreed, you shouldn't starve yourself, we aren't going to support a dangerous diet, we will support YOU however and that's what past posts are trying to do. It's tough love, do not make a mistake! x
-
absolutely not, 1,200 is the minimum amount you can eat per day without putting your body into starvation mode. A crash diet is absolutely a terrible choice, i strongly urge you not to do this type of meal plan xx
-
23 feel free to add me :) x

cous cous, roasted vegetable, hummus and olives x

hey, i'm doing the 30DS, i'm hoping to lose 60LB, i started the shred after having some medical issues and i have been fine, but everyone is different. Listen to your body x
-
this is really boring but i really like a poached egg on a slice of toast. Or porridge with banana on top x
-
I have the DVD, but I know it is avalible on youtube also, think the uploader is called "befit" and all you need to search is 30 day shred level 1 x
-
Hiya, that brilliant! Yeah I feel exactly the same, can't wait to see my results :) x
-
think hummus is always a good thing to have as well, nice side sauce or snack with vegetable sticks x
-
thanks for the advice x
-
