Thank you, I'm hoping that through healthy eating and exercise I can become more at peace with myself. It's going to be a long road and it doesn't feel good, but the support here is amazing in getting on track with diet and exercise. :)

I friended you, thank you. Recovering from an eating disorder feels like the most terrible, difficult, frustrating thing ever. ETA: CONGRATS on being 2 years purge free, that is AMAZING!! I'm at 2 months and I'm stoked hehe

Thanks for the replies, I emailed my dietitian to let her know about my struggles and my feelings towards how I look now. I can't see her supporting weight loss per say, but even to just reassure me that things will get better? I don't know...I really really don't know. I feel stuck. I'm also 20 and recovered from an eating disorder. The maintenance calories that my dietitian gave me was 2100-2400 calories, but I really struggle to reach that. I would suggest upping your calories to closer to 2000 to try and combat the extreme hunger.

I find that at work I will bring breakfast with me, and then "graze" on it over a few hours. Something about eating little bits over a period of time keeps me fuller.
