  • Yep....^^^^this. Same for me.
  • I'm 6' and 220 right now. I'm wearing a very loose 18, should probably go pants shopping. At my highest, around 250-270 I was wearing a 22. Most of my weight is pretty evenly distributed, but I can be "hippy".
  • Well, great for you! Not everyone is as lucky as you seem to be, and despite trying everything mentioned here, plus doctors, some people just have problems in this department. Lay off. OP: You originally asked about a cleanse. If you want my opinion on the best one (and Im in the same boat as you, friend)....feel free to…
  • Nothing! But, Im afraid it will sit too heavy on my stomach. Ive done that before and actually been up for the weigh in the next day. I know, long term goal...but, I really need to hit this goal tomorrow and I want to make sure I get a good, filling dinner too.
  • You're 6'3" and weigh 145 but want to weigh 117?? If you are truly that tall, you certainly dont need to lose any weight. Im a tad over 6' and 185 is the high end of what I should weigh.....might want to reconsider your goals.
  • Im a WW Lifetime member. Im also a good 50 lbs overweight, LOL I loved their old plan, it worked for me....the accountability of weighing in front of others, even if it was just the "leader"....Im competitive by nature and I didnt want to have a gain on my weight booklet. Ive had 2 more children since my Lifetime status…
  • Hi Casi, Im Kristen - 39 yo SAHM to 4 kiddos. 3 boys and 1 little lady. We live in So. Texas, where we're just HOT all the darn time (thus, exercising outdoors is difficult, sometimes impossible at times). I live in a very rural area, an no gym close by either. Im down 25 lbs and want to lose probably 50 more. I'll friend…

  • This exact same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I was up 7 lbs from being gone on our mini vacay for 4 days. I tracked and even though I did go over a time or two, the amount of walking and beaching, sweating, etc that I did I knew there was NO way I could have realistically gained that much weight. One issue *I*…
  • My husband has been on 3rd shift for over a year now. We love this shift. He works 10p-8a, Tues-Sat a.m. He comes home by around 9am and sleeps until 4pm. Then he's up for family time, dinner, putting kids to bed, then time for us to spend alone before he goes in at 10p. We eat a regular dinner as always around 6p. I…
  • I havent read the whole thread to see if this has been mentioned, but have you started any new meds recently? I was recently prescribed an anxiety med and all of a sudden I started experiencing constipation (worse than what I usually struggle with anyway!!!) and I read the side effects, and lo and behold.....its a side…

  • Congratulations girlie! Such an inspiration to many. Keep up the great work!
  • Im a stay at home mom to 4 kids, ages 12, 8, 5 and 2. 3 boys and a girl. Needless to say, sometimes I NEED those meal replacement drinks, otherwise I get nothing. I dont know where you are located, but one of our grocery stores, HEB (Texas) has their version of a protein shake that is SO.GOOD. The extra protein keeps me…
  • Girl, I could have written your post. I get so frustrated and unmotivated because of the clothing thing. I have friends who fart and their 2 sizes smaller and having to buy new clothes. I'll lose 30lbs and my fat clothes still fit. Ugh. Im over 6' tall and Im about 260, and I have the large build that you mentioned too.…
  • Great idea too!!! Thanks so much. Another thing - you know, I feel like Im doing well, Im feeling more confident. THEN I see a picture from a party yesterday and it makes me feel like Ive done nothing.......I really wish my confidence wasn't in the crapper. Sigh...... I did have a GREAT NSV though. I made this fabulous…
  • Exactly what ^^^^ she said. $5/hour isn't worth it.
  • And, by the way, my ticker is wrong. LOL I don't know how to adjust it because Im NOT weighing until closer to Christmas time. I'll have been "on plan" for a good 5 months by then so I plan on weighing and comparing that to my last MFP weigh in. :)
  • Thanks yall. You are right, lwood - I do "carry weight well" and too much of it! LOL I hate that it takes longer to notice, its hard to stay motivated when you don't see or feel results in a somewhat timely manner. I should have measured before starting my journey again. You guys have me looking at some clothes online....I…
  • I could have written his post myself. It IS incredibly frustrating to bust your rump to lose, clothes fit the same and no one notices. :( Ive boycotted the scale so I have a fair idea of how much I need to lose, but I don't know how much Ive lost at this point. I feel a lot better since Ive made that decision.
  • Thanks for the reassurance everyone! I felt as if breaking the relationship with my scale was the right thing to do. :) I feel great, lots better physically and mentally....so Im just staying OFF for quite a while. Maybe I'll weigh around Christmas. We'll see.
  • Im currently using Catalyst, Spark and MNS-C and feel GREAT! I haven't felt this great in a long, long time.....one thing that I have noticed is that Im not so terribly bloated and puffy.

  • I think you have a lot to be proud of. First off, have the b@lls to do a run/5k. Second....you completed it AND with a great time - you did it in the top 1/2! Fantastic.
  • Kudos to making it to level 2!!! I quit on day 3 of the 1st one. :( I need to try again.
  • Sounds to me like you have your mind made up! :) If you have done your research and its a fair price, go for it. You wont be happy with another/different machine, and if you prefer to run/walk indoors, it sounds optimal to me. Have fun!
  • Ha! I was gonna post the same thing about Pawn Stars!!!!! Congrats on the weight loss, you did a fantastic job and look great!
  • LOVE the suit. Sorry they have been ugly to you, but you are FAR from fat. If you are fat, then I must be enormous. LOL
  • I never log my breastfeeding calories. It adds an extra 500 calories to my 1800 per day. Do you think I should try eating them to see what might happen?
