LOL... I dont think I could balance it on my head....12' long... 60+lbs... quite cumbersome... I just try to park as close as i can to the water. LOL... maybe one day if I build up more upper body strength. I ended up getting a rack for my car... Rhino-Rack..REALLY nice looking. Got a descent price from Autoanything.com...…

I would be hesitant about it. Only because for me... I've been an 18/20 for a long time and even if I lost another 20 I am not sure my clothing size would go down. Not sure what wt I was at the last time I was a 14/16. I think about 190 ? which is 40 from where I am now and 60 from my start. It's really odd that I'd have…

Lol me too. I'm 5'10. Love them... Have a closest full. Can't walk gracefully in them to save my life. Much Like ironanimal said... It's best that I wear them when I'm on my back. Lol If you can rock the heels regardless of height.. Go for it. But it makes me feel like a large trany. Lol not really... But kinda.

Oh wow!!! I think this might be my favorite... and so humble and modest. ;) Can I bump that?

Hey there... I am in the same boat... Started Jan 9th.. 5'10 SW 253...CW 235(depending on the day)... Started low at 1370... up'd to 1800... tried Primal... went up to 2100... went back down to 1500... now at 1750 after having my metabolism tested. I have tried eating back exercise cals and not eating back exercise cals. I…

Lol. Y'all have a funny opinion of Americans. I don't know of anyone who wears plaid pants or wears their hat backwards. Lol wouldn't associate with them if they did. Pretty funny though. I think an important thing to remember is NOT to stereotype no matter where you are From or where you go. People are rarely who they…

I use it about once a week or so to talk to my handsome British Beau. But thats it. My Bro and Sis in law and nieces use it a lot because he is working out of town.

Awesome! Yeah I wear my HRM... It usually is a bigger burn than what MFP gives for kayaking. My HR doesn't get super high.... but usually about 400-500 cal burn for an hour of leisurely paddling. Mine is 50 or 60lbs. I can't lift it by myself... I have to have help. ugh! But it is wonderful on the water... very stable and…

Found this information when googling.... Menstrual cycle and BMR BMR varied significantly with the menstrual cycle in five of the six subjects tested. The change in BMR with menstrual cycle was the same in all five subjects; there was a decrease in BMR during menstruation falling to a low point approximately 1 wk before…

Yes it totally makes sense to go up and down over the course of a month with water wt and such. What does not make sense to me is that that loss rt and the end of my period is the only loss for the month. And yes it is a permant loss ...other than the normal flux up and down before the next period.

Did go to Dr in March... all is well as I stated in the original post.

I use the shakes more as meal replacement for breakfast on days I have to be up at 5am and don't want to cook. The bars are more of something I use after a hike... and sometime as a quick snack when I don't have access to anything else that would be somewhat hearthy.

OOOH... FR me.. I would love to know what you find out. I don't have the symptoms for PCOS but have never been tested. And I am not on BC. And don't think I am going thru menapause... but who knows.!! The article really did not give any info other than wt fluctuates during the month for women 18-22. LOL DUH!!
-
Ive been on here since January and have "only" lost 16 lbs. Ever single person will have a different experience with wt loss. And this time may be different from any other time you may have tried to lose wt. I agree with LoraF83... Just eat well. Make smart choices with your food. Truly eat clean. No processed crap. And…

Cheap Tequila... gag.... And a buttery nipple... ... for my 22nd bday. UGH... never ever again.\ Strangers saw way too much that night. LOL

Are you losing any within the month? I am not showing any loss until the last couple of days of my period. And that's it for the month.
-
Wow... thanks. Not young... but have not had a child. Thanks for the info. I will definitely read this! Edit after skimming article.... Yeah.. I know that wt fluctuates during the month. That is a given pretty much... with water wt and hormones and such. My inquiry lies with... I don't lose wt until after my period. I am…

ME!!! I follow but struggle to lose!!

I "tried" Primal... because you can have dairy. But I couldn't give up peanut butter. And though I followed it to the T on every other aspect for a month and a half. The weight did not fall off like "advertised" But I did feel really good. And I continue to eat similarly... but I do have whole grain bread from time to…

My TDEE per fitnessFrog is 2523.... which is about what BMF says as well. But the GOV site gives me 2400 as TDEE.... I eat about 1600-1800 cals on a low activity day and about 2200 on a high activity day. 25%-30% cut. But the eat more to lose thing hasn't kicked in for me yet. :(

I could go either way... but think I prefer some hair on the chest.... More "manly"!!

just in case anyone has read this thread... or cares... I got the used Yolo Yak... been out with it 2x... and I really like. IT is VERY heavy though. Specs say 60lbs... but I think it's more than that. I have a hard time handling. Got a paddle too... Kialoa PuPu paddle... fiber glass... 80"... Now my next purchase will be…
