if all i have to do to get the salad that I would usually pay $8 for for free is strap on a stupid cow head decoration for 2 seconds on my way to work...yes. i see nothing wrong with that.

had so many intentions of taking advantage of free chick fil a day....now all i want for the rest of my life is a pretzel burger. free food or a pretzel burger...these are the serious life altering adult decisions I was warned about when I was younger.

perfect summary really. love it.

funny you say that, because I am honestly in the same exact situation right now. i leave for the beach in a week and a half, told myself at the beginning of the month i would really crack down and get serious but for some reason keep coming up with every excuse not to. just now i was planning on getting my boyfriend a…

guys...it's only *sometimes* that diets like these are risky and cause health issues. pardon me while i go enjoy a 500 calorie snack now. :noway:

I have issues with the it bands in both of my knees when I run. I was terrified that I wasn't going to be able to do anything but my doctor told me that as long as it didn't particularly cause any pain that I could do any type of elliptical or bike. Basically he said to avoid anything that was up and down in movement…

i don't want to seem like the bad guy here or like im trying to lecture you or tell you how to think, but the type of mentality you seem to have toward this whole situation seems kind of dangerous and the start of a very slippery slope. It would be much healthier for your body to up your calories a bit, make sure you are…

as a replacement for soda maybe try carbonated flavored water...that way you get the fizzy feeling, some kind of taste other than bland water, and lose some of the less desirable ingredients in soda....might at least help if you ever do cut it out completely :)

take it from someone who cut all caffeine, except for chocolate here and there, from their intake...it will SUCK like crazy for about the first week or two and then after that its all smooth sailing. Granted I gave it up for reasons totally unrelated to weight loss/fitness. like everybody else has said so far though, if…

isn't anyone who posts a progress picture on here? that doesn't mean that its a bad thing or something to be looked down upon or criticized for. we're all working out *kitten* off (figuratively and literally in some cases) to look better and some times it feels damn good to get feedback from others. i know at the end of…

i think i love you.

oh the joys of "toning"...
-
my knees and my IT bands can attest to this. my pt actually told me i should have started lifting first because the added strength in my quads would have helped stabilize the rest of my legs.
-
i've not done the 30ds program so I can't quite say if this is the case but I do know that I struggle with some serious issues with my IT bands in both legs and when I run I can tell they're acting up because I'll start to recognize a popping sensation going on. Not saying that is your issue, but maybe just try to look up…

I haven't personally tried it, but I too would like to hear some opinions. I have been considering attempting it due to recently developed health issues and seeing many reports that people experiencing the same things as I have been felt much better sticking to a strict paleo diet. my curiosity is more about how difficult…

holy crap... 2000+ calories of mcdonalds sweet tea, jimmy johns, aaaand chipotle every now and then?! how could you ever consider yourself healthy or properly nourished (would be much more enjoyable if i could more easily portray a tone of sarcasm. looks about like mine so cheers!)

i remember hearing (once upon a time and i can't remember who said it or in what context or really anything other than the statement itself lol) before that there is an optimal weight for your body as far as how low your weight will go and that your body will be stubborn with you and do all that it can not to go below that…

precisely what i was trying to say and much more eloquently worded haha :)
