  • Thank you! I'll definitely try doing that! I guess the idea with that is to do it slow, and not worry about numbers, just form? Yeah, they technically count as push ups, it's just I always get these pained stares from people who tell me I'm going to hurt myself. I mean, they're crazy wide!
  • I tried the weighing myself every day thing once, and yeah, it was real disheartening to see in fluctuate, and not go down at the pace I want it to. Trust me, you'll feel a lot better if you just weigh in weekly, and don't focus on it every day!

  • Duke Nukem 3D. It was such a blast, me and my dad would play it switching off every time we died and had to reload. It made it that much more disappointing when Duke Nukem Forever was such a turd....

But there were also weeks where I'd weigh myself and suddenly 8 or 9 pounds would be gone. I don't know what the average speed was, but you can lose at such…
  • I'm in the military and so they always try to compel us to lose weight and stay in shape. It's hard though, as I work a desk job and have to sit on butt most of the day. I've been considering trying to get a standing desk. In the meantime, me and an old supervisor have been "racing" to 200 lbs. Whoever crosses that line…

I've got an ongoing DnD campaign with my wife and some friends. My goal is to get down to 190 lbs (a healthy BMI for my height) since I'm in the military and…
