Wow, I feel for you. You see someone you love self-destructing right in front of you. A train wreck is ahead and you cannot stop it. I would not share with him the paragraph because that may anger him and push him further in the opposite direction. If his behavior is not compatible to yours, whether it's weight loss,…

Generally if you weigh more you lose faster. As you lose, your pace will slow down and somewhat plateau. I have friends who have lost 100 ilbs and it took them about 9 months to a year. They lost 10-12 lbs per month, weighing 300 plus from a start. Don't let this discourage you. Remember that you did not put it on over…

Wow, you are awesome. How much time did you spend on exercising? What type did you do? I have a friend that you may be able to encourage.

Welcome! As you can see from all of those who have replied, there is evidence that this process works. What you eat and light exercise are important in weight loss and mainteance. What is most important is what you put in your mouth and knowing how to accurately document it. Read your labels and be true to yourself about…

How often are you working out or doing physical activity? If you are doing something active, this should help you sleep through the night because your body is ready for rest. Your late night eating does not sound like hunger. Your mind has developed a habit, but you are probably not hungry. You just have to satisfy the…

Fried foods have more calories, thus allow us small portions to stay within our nutirional balance. For me, it's enough to make your mad, so I'd rather have more in portion in baked, grilled or broiled food. Nutrional balance is important for consistent weight loss. So if you are getting in all of your nutrional balance,…

Ms WVU, I like this. The past two weeks have been very busy for me and I must admit, I have not given God the time he deserves in my life. I have been busy doing Christian related work, but I have not given him what he deserves. Here is my committment for the month of May: My spiritual committment is going to be to commit…

Looks like several of us experienced weight loss with this. Who got the most in the last 2 weeks of April? Toni ( me, aarnoldmcf) got 3 lbs. WVU got (?) 6 lbs in one month is great! If you could cut the fried food back to once per week, or even only two servings per week, that would be great! I have pretty much replaced…

Ms. WVU Alum, How is the Two for Two challenge coming for you?

Ok Outfitters, This was harder than I thought! I didn't realize how many white carbs I eat. I cheated on the red meat one time, when I had some chili on this past Friday. The white carbs was a challenge. I failed on that one, however, I still managed to lose at least 3 lbs so far. So I still have the rest of today and…

WVUALUM: Yes, we will count that for your fast.

I started this regiment on Sunday with a spirtual encounter during worship service. I received a fresh dose of the holy spirit to prepare me for the road ahead. I can see me close to my weight loss goal, and it seems that my tires are spinning and I want to lose traction. However, I must press forward with the help of God.…

Nonna, there is no better time to start than now. I am so proud of you! You are a real trooper. Yes, it is possible for you to lose 135 lbs. A friend of mind, whom, I hope join us, has lost 115 lbs. The last time I checked, God is still in the miracle production business. Your transformation must start with the renewing of…

Let's get going towards 105. Log your food and eat as much green food as you can (Broccoli, asparagus, spinach, etc). Be honest on your portions sizes logged and be accountable to yourself, the group, and God. Logging for always works for me, but this time, I am maintaining weight loss. I have had a breakthrough. You don't…

Cleming, you will have God's will in your life. As you study his word, apply it to all areas of your life, even in weight loss. If I can do this, anybody can. I have actually lost 35 lbs since I started this journey in 2010. I have had ups and downs. Now I am back down, and I mean down in a good way. This time around, God…

Welcome Gale, Everyone, Gale sings in my gospel ensemble, Blessed Union, The Group. We have to be able to endure long hours of rehearsing and live singing, that requires movement. Worship is not just singing, it is also music ministry in motion, We have to be our best so we can give God our best.

Thanks Nonna for sharing this prayer request. We will be praying for Mali.

Sure please pass these songs along. In the text under the video on "He Didn't Have To Love Me", there is a survey listeners can complete. This info will help my group in our futurue writing and releases. We'd love to have the feedback on how to create music that meets the needs of the listeners.

Thank God for your ministry! You will bless many with this mission. Welcome.

Jen, Welcome. You are in the right place. I have learned that this weight loss journey can be victories first by spiritual growth. Exercise those spiritual muscles that allow you to have will power and discernment. As Christians, we have the Holy Spirit, as a gift and advocate to do God's righteous will. Just get started…

Wow, I am so glad to read all of your post! Here is my story: I have started this weight loss journey several times in my life. I am just over 5 feet tall, so I don't have a lot of room to expand. The last time I got serious with my weight loss journey was when I turned 40. My plan was to lose 40 at 40. Well, In 2010, I…

This is a good point. All equipment is not calibrated accurately. This is why I don't like to max out my calorie goal every day. I try to be a little under goal, maybe by 100-200 calories, if I work out, to have some room for error in my ability to measure accurately and in the exercise equipment.

Matty, I sent you a full email, but don't freak out over one pound. I would eat a little less on the calories, but eat better choices of food so do you don't feel hungry. Cut back on the biscuits and pizza. This is straight carbs and sugar. You could probably be losing more weight if you made better choices. You are within…
