I have a Polar H7 heart rate strap that I purchased from Amazon for around $67. I use it with the Digifit app, which links with myfitnesspal. I also use a Fitbit One and link it here. It is a perfect combination for me, I highly recommend all of them!

I tried figuring my activity level using the Scooby calculator, not to mention just about every other website I found on google. I never did get good results from that. I use a heart rate monitor when I exercise, which is either eliptical or running, and wear my Fitbit. I put everything in here and have my Fitbit linked to…

I would say my food scale, my heart rate monitor, and my Fitbit. I would also have to add a fourth, my compact eliptical I bought from QVC for $99.96. I love that thing!! I have a treadmill, exercise bike, and treadmill also but never use either of them. My InMotion Compact Eliptical is small enough that I can carry it…

I have a Polar FT60 I paid well over $100 for. I recently bought a Polar H7 heart rate monitor strap and use the Digifit app on my iPod. It connects through Bluetooth and you only need to purchase the H7 strap, $63.79 at Amazon, and get the Digifit app. You would need to pay to upgrade the app, either $2.99 for syncing…

I agree. My 13 year old son has had the same problem since birth. There are many foods he simply can't stand to eat. When he was younger he would sit at the table for hours refusing to eat. I would suggest discussing it with your doctor. Good luck.

I have used Fitbit Ultra, Fitbit One, Bodymedia Fit, and a Polar heart rate monitor. I posted a comparison here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/932771-fitbit-hrm-bodymedia-fit-30-day-comparison I highly recommend the Fitbit One.

I have Fibromyalgia and that makes exercise difficult and very painful. I started by walking in place slowly, then jogging in place when I could. This is the only exercise I have found that I can do every day and still be able to get out of bed the next day. I use my Fitbit every day and I just got the InMotion Compact…

Today I ran wearing my Polar H7 heart rate monitor and my Fitbit One. I used the Digifit app on my iPod with my H7 strap. I am starting to think maybe the reason my HRM was so far off from my Fitbit before was because the Fitbit Ultra needed to be replaced. In the interest of full disclosure I must admit I dropped my…

I am glad that several people have found this helpful. This week I am going to compare my numbers between Fitbit and my Polar heart rate monitor during exercise. I want to see which numbers match up closest to my weight change for the week. I agree that Bodymedia has a better dashboard design. I don't like that you must…

Sorry it came out in a jumbled mess! I am trying to redo it so it is readable, lol. Sorry for the repeated post if this didn't help. I am sorry to say I will not be able to complete the 30 comparison after all. I sent my Bodymedia Fit back today. I wore it for a week but I developed a blister on my arm and my entire left…

Your welcome, I hope this helped!

I'm in. Is there a way to add my ticker to my signature without having to redo it every time? Thank you!

Yes, I think the numbers showed that the Fitbit and Bodymedia Fit are pretty close. While some days they were pretty far apart, by the end of the week the average was extremely close. I think either of these devices would work well, it just comes down to personal preference. I find the Fitbit to be more comfortable and…

I am sorry to say I will not be able to complete the 30 comparison after all. I sent my Bodymedia Fit back today. I wore it for a week but I developed a blister on my arm and my entire left arm has hurt for several days. I think it is because of my Amniotic Band Syndrome though. My left arm is super sensitive to…

Let me start today by saying I don't expect any of these to be exact, that is not what I am trying to do. I want to compare the numbers and follow my weight to see which device gives me the most accurate result. I also wanted to help others who are looking for information on Fitbit, Bodymedia, or heart rate monitors. I…

Before I get into my results from today, I just found a feature on the BMF dashboard that I love. You can create a printable four page summary report of all your data customizable by time or a detailed food report. Okay, so I walked/jogged in place for 60 minutes wearing my Polar h7 heart rate monitor chest strap. It has…

I have been wearing mine for a couple of days. I am still wearing my Fitbit and using my hrm when I exercise. I am going to do a 30 day comparison to see which is more accurate and which I like better.

I combined my oldest child's first name and my youngest child's middle name.

I emailed them yesterday so hopefully I will hear back from them soon. I would like to know how well it has worked for others and how accurate it is. Thank you.

Thank you for your help. I have decided to wear my Fitbit Ultra and the BMF for a couple of weeks. I will continue to use my hrm when I exercise and log that as well. I want to play around with it for a while and compare them.
