I second this! Even at nearly 70 pounds down, I still see the old me in the mirror a lot of times (mainly because my overall shape is the same...just smaller), but pictures show a whole different me. Congrats on your loss, @120poundstogo, and keep up the great work!

Very well done! I'm inspired!

My belly fat makes noises too. My guess is that those areas are less dense (less filled out and "looser") due to the fat loss. Losing more weight and fat will help the areas shrink even more. Continue doing what you're doing and lift a bit heavier to preserve muscle mass. If you're seeing progress, don't even sweat the…

You are phenomenal! Thank you for sharing your progress!

I'm so inspired! You look amazing, but I'm sure you feel even better! Congratulations!

This was a truly emotional moment for me. I literally struggled, teary-eyed, to accept that it was time...that a new me had finally emerged.

Great progress, @idioticblu ! How much time between the before and after? What challenge were you participating in?

@MsSquatAlot Thanks for responding. I'd say I'm losing .5 to 1 pound per week...sometimes nothing at all, sometimes more. I know that's pretty average, and it averages out, but it feels slow and it doesn't help that I'm impatient. I've had months where I stayed the same weight or within a pound or two, but I looked like I…

Incredible progress! My weight loss is sooooo slow with heavy lifting, but the changes in my body... I wouldn't trade them at all.

Some of the programs I've seen are: StrongLifts 5x5 New Rules of Lifting for Women Wendler's 5/3/1 Ice Cream Fitness The women here have had great results. What have you tried in the past? What are your goals? No matter what, the key is patience and consistency.

Hilarious and absolutely brilliant!

Very well done, @madube84

I think I figured out how to attach a picture. Here's my progress...exactly one pound difference in weight, but a pretty good difference in size. I hope you guys can tell.

That beard though...so yummy. Everything is just yummy.

The pores in my face are smaller and less noticeable.

From January to November of last year, I lost about 65 lbs. Since then, I've been stuck at roughly the same number on the scale, gaining and losing the same 5-7 lbs. I started lifting heavy again in November and hoped to encourage the number on the scale to drop, but it didn't...it stayed the same and I became increasingly…

In addition to everything that's already been said, OP, your body might respond better with adequate rest. Your cortisol levels must be crazy high. Is there any way you can cut back on working so much?
-
I was thinking the very same thing.

Great progress! Bravo!

Add the hours of exercise and 9.5 and then multiply that sum by your goal weight. I got 2175, which is pretty accurate for me (according to everything else I've seen).
-
That's a very noticeable change!
-
Bravo! Very well done!

I've always wondered what happens AFTER a keto diet? Is it a permanent (forever and ever) lifestyle, or do you go back to a "traditional" diet? Can you stay in ketosis for extended periods of time? I see a lot of people talk about the diet, itself, but have never seen the "what next."

Box jumps scare me. I look ridiculous even trying to jump up on a curb or stair, but I can do jump squats with no problem. It's definitely mental, and one of the things I plan to conquer over the next two months. Thanks for sharing your story. You've inspired me to take my own leap.

Try baking a salmon fillet or boneless skinless chicken breasts. You can freeze some of it and thaw/warm it when you want it. You can pair it with salad or veggie...or make sandwiches or wraps. You can also make tuna salad.

This morning I ate baked salmon, raw zucchini and a grapefruit. Yesterday I ate watermelon, blackberries and fresh spinach. The day before, I ate cottage cheese, sliced banana, diced apple and almonds.
