Thank you for sharing. Its been a tough year, I lost some, now I'm bigger than I have ever been. Trying to get back on the bandwagon with small changes...this picture is inspirational!

Wow! I have to say, don't take this the wrong way, but I would have guessed you'd lost more than 57 pounds. Way to go.
-
I did notice you ate a lot of curry dishes!
-
Yes I did. I've tried to do everything I'm supposed to do. I'm so frustrated!'
-
No it's not. I've been tracking since January. Miss a day here or there... My Internet was down last week and over the weekend so that is why there wasn't much tracking but if you go back further I track.
-
Fantastic! I'm amazed you could lose all that in three months. Can you share what you did?? Workout plans? Food intake? We are around the same stats and I'm not moving at all lol

I find a lot of Dr's prescribe, but don't necessarily understand all the side effects. I have been on it for almost 5 years now. For sure it contributed to weight gain and my loss has been incredibly slow. I have a love hate relationship with my meds. I'm a happier person, wish in a way I'd started them years before I did,…

Thanks. The pudding keeps me from all the crap that is around work. If I know I have a treat of my own available to eat after lunch, I don't have an excuse to eat the endless amounts of timbits, chocolates and cupcakes that parents bring into work for us. Its a mental trick for me.

Anyone??

Swimming. I can't cycle at all with my bad knee, it really aggravates it. Also, upper body workout and things like pushups/pullups, abs.
-
OK that makes sense. No, I don't move the same every day. Some days I'm doing a desk job, other days I'm running the clinic (nurse), and literally running on those days! My gym days I go much higher, but won't have any of those days. I guess I'm confused....I haven't been eating back the cals from my fitbit because I set…

I'm 5ft 6" I'm currently 189 lbs, trying to first get to 178 then reassess. But overall goal is 160.
-
Wow congratulations!!! I'm same height as you, currently at 189. My ultimate goal is 155. Its so nice to see others have done it already!

First of all, I see you are from Huntsville! One of my fave places on the planet!! I have friends who just moved back to Huntsville, they didn't like the city life. Now, for your question. I don't have an answer, but you are defenitely not alone. I have been tracking since Jan 2 and have been averaging a two pound weight…

Very impressive. I know how tough it is to have to lose weight before surgery, I'm in the same boat. The motivation that one day I won't have a hip that hurts and may be able to walk a 5K is what keeps me going. Good for you!!! Keep it up!!!

Oh yes, I've been in PT for two years!!! I finally said enough. It really wasn't making a difference and the pain has just gotten worse and worse. I do exercises for the stabilizers and the core. My schedule is stabilizers one day, then my Psoas yoga video the next. I have been doing boxing a couple times a week however…

Hi - any resolution?? I'm going through the same thing. Its been three years. I've had an MRI, and have a second next week. My sports med is pretty confident its a tear given that we have ruled everything else. Its gotten pretty bad lately - the pain is in my knee and foot now since I'm not walking properly anymore. I've…

I know this is an old thread - but I'm wondering, how things worked out for you? I've been struggling a couple of years with tons of pain. Finally found a doc to do some imaging. My first MRI showed some changes, so we tried an injection into the hip bursa. Took away the secondary pain that developed as a result of the…

This past week I didn't log well, so that is why I was around 1000 calls. But if you look back further, I defenitely hit 1500 or higher. I used to eat my exercise calls back but have recently stopped to see if it helps with loss. I'm trying to shake it up a bit since eating what MFP gives me plus exercise wasn't working.…

Big time addict here. I drink it all day long!!!

LOve spin. Its my favorite workout. My first couple weeks I always thought I was going to be sick, but its better now. Last week the woman beside me kept leaning over to see the time on my HRM....it was her first class and she was counting down the minutes!

Endomorph here. I love this thread. I've been at it forever and struggle for weeks to lose one pound. I love to work out, am strong - but don't see a ton of defenition. Its very frustrating.

I was having lots of problems. The signal kept coming and going. I tried changing all the batteries, cleaning it etc. I read that if you turn the strap so that the monitor is on the side, over your rib cage. It worked like a dream.
-
Never mind. Seems there is no answer to this question lol. I should have done a search first lol

Rest. Take care of yourself. Speak to a physio to learn some rehab exercises that will be safe for you. Rest. Rest. Rest. I did not rest after an injury and three years later, I have a limp to live with and daily pain.

Its so great to see so many women focused on feeling good in their skin, rather than focused on the number. My first goal is 167 - seems random, but that was the weight I was when I got pregnant 8 years ago. Sigh. Never got back there. That puts me at a 10. I may go for 155 once I get there, but thats a long way off. I'm 5…

Awesome! I just got out of 190s, hit 189 yesterday. Congrats to you!!!!

Binge eating is a behaviour and you have to really want to change it. It is so hard, I struggle every day with binge eating. You are defenitely not alone, having had my own binge last night. These are the things I've done, and they have really helped: I had a few sessions with a psychotherapist to try and break this habit.…

If you google Glute exercises you will find a ton. Doing lots of squats may just aggravate your knees. Deadlifts are awesome, best exercises for gluteus are side lying leg lifts. When they compared a ton of different exercises, leg lifts fired the glutes the most. Try single leg deadlifts, single leg deadlifts and…

You can totally see a difference! Great job!
