What about dried bananas instead of fresh ones? Or any dried fruit if you like it? They always sell Kendal Mint Cake in hiking shops, I can't stand the stuff, but my brother goes hiking quite a lot and swears by it!! Good luck with it anyway, i'm so impressed you're doing it! !!

 Rod Stewart! I swear 'Baby Jane' makes me run faster! Plus, the smug feeling I get after a good workout, and sometimes I get that 'can't wait till my next workout' feeling which is awesome!

I'm working full time (39 hours) and I go to Uni part time doing a law conversion course. I have four more years of this!! Arggghhh Just coming up to exams so its going to get tougher too. I agree, it's probably harder to manage food/exercise when you're working full time. I've done two degrees previosuly, an found it much…

I'm the same. They days I don't exercise, I'm always really hungry. The days I do, I struggle to eat my 1200 plus extra exercise calories. I try to look at the week as a whole, some days I go over, some days I go under, but over the course of a week it (hopefully!) evens out somewhat. I have had a general downward trend in…

I usually have between 300-400 calories

I love Green Tea, it's amazing!! But I'm not keen on Green Tea with Cranberry, it smells and taste like cigarettes to me! Eurgggghhhh! :drinker:

I totally agree. I feel really ill today after I went for Chinese Buffet last night. Soooooo not worth it!! (I never thought I'd be the one saying that!)

I weigh-in every Wednesday morning and I've had a steady downward trend so far! ( ) I also take my body fat and muscle mass percentages and my measurements once a month too! Seeing my body fat decrease and my muscle mass increase gives me more of a boost than seeing my weight decrease actually, so I'd definately…

Chillis are supposed to boost your metabolism, both sweet ones and hot ones! Just depends if you can handle the heat! :explode:

I've been having problems with my food diary, I keep having to refresh the screen to get back to the main page after I have searched the database for what I'm looking for. Arrrggghh! Really annoying!

Love this song, takes me back to my school days!!

Haha! whats a 'pram' in American then?! Hilarious that we all speak English yet nobody has a clue what anyone else is saying. Where I live (Manchester) we say 'tea' means the evening meal as well as the drink!

I'm from the UK, and you all pretty much confuse me....!! Although I'm sure you wouldn't have a clue what I'm talking about either!!

 Yum! I'm having that for my dinner!!

This is so true, it could be written about my boyfriend!!!

hi, That always happens to me too. I rarely meet my fat allowance, but usually blow the sugar allowance. I eat a lot of fruit which is the culprit in my case!

Excellent idea! We need an MFP uniform!

It's my nickname, that was 'kindly' given to me by a friend at Uni, I'm not sure why, she was a little crazy... It's stuck now and everyone calls it me, rather than my actual name- Sarah. 88- 8's my lucky number!!

Hey, I'll be interested to see some suggestions on this thread, cos I'm in a bit of a rut with lunches too! I have those Sainsbury's soups- am slightly addicted to the tomato and bean one! Or I have ryvita with cottage cheese or salad. Very boring!

I'm always wary of 'quick fix' diets like this anyway, but as others have mentioned, it's very restrictive in terms of calories and variety in your diet, and I doubt that it'd be sustainable over more than a few days. I'd work on trying to find time to fit in the gym or other exercise- your body and weightloss will benefit…

I'm trying to overcome my fear of the treadmill. My friend fell on it once and flew halfway across the gym floor and landed on her face- thankfully she was ok, just a few scratches, but now I'm scared to go on it in case it happens to me too! Eeeeks! :ohwell:

Ryvita! (do you get that in the US?!)
-
What a good idea!
-
I agree!!

Totally agree, it was concerning enough that somebody thought it was a good idea to lose weight in that way. I was alarmed when people started giving tips! :noway:
