I bought myself a new pair of running shoes.

I eat them once in awhile, but I load them up with frozen vegetables too. Sometimes that is all I have time for.

Feel free to add me. Still 10 lbs to go and then I have to learn to maintain- not gain!

Being cold ALL THE TIME! Being teased by my peers that I am a health nut and never go out anymore. They can't believe I spend money on running in 5k's and the gas to get to the events.
-
Feel free to add me. I'm always looking to increase my support network. Good luck with your journey!

I ran my first 5k in May. I was really surprised when I was able to finish it without stopping! I have ran a total of 6 5k's over the summer. Each time I set a personal goal for myself. Everyone was encouraging each other. I find that people are competing against themselves, not other runners. Good luck!

We give our dog an egg yolk once a month to help with dry skin and keep his coat shiney. We feed him Iam's dog food. He has seizures and had to stop giving him dog chow.

Take it one step at a time 1. What is your vision? Where do you want to be in a year? 2. Set short term goals as stepping stones to your vision Where do you see yourself in 3 months? What can you do this week to get you closer to your vision? 3. Focus on the positive. Instead of "I didn't" think in terms of "I did" Good…

It is healthy to lose 1-2 lbs per week. Rememer as a women you body goes through it's monthly cycle. There is typically weight gain, which is usually water weight, during part of the cycle. Instead of worrying about the scale so much, observe how you are feeling and how your clothes fit. Don't give up.

My grandma used Noxema for her eczema. Shw used it as a lotion instead of a face wash.

Keep up with the walking. If you don't like the gym, it will be a challenge to go. A really good book to read is "Walk Yourself Thin" By David Rives. It's an easy read and has a lot of good tips on how to lose weight by just walking.

I am taking my Zumba instructor class this weekend. They suggest either cross trainers or dance shoes for the class.
