Snip snip snippety snip snip snip, at least that's how I think it happened, don't really know, was stoned on Valium at the time.

I eat a tablespoon of Skinny B every day with a 35 calorie yogurt, helps make me feel full.

Jerbear, sorry but I couldn't disagree more. Food is so much more than just fuel. Food to me is, comfort, extravagance, creativity, solace, mood enhancer, joy, happiness, exploration, and many other great qualities. I love, love, love food of all shapes sizes and textures. Cooking up a nice meal for friends and family is…

No blame here, because we all do it. But do you watch any TV? Read? Text your friends? Use a computer? These are all things that can be done while exercising, get a spin bike and put it in your living room, and when you are watching "friends" on TV there is your half hour cardio. I used to make the same excuse whith my…

HEy, hard to figure out what you are eating without access to your food diary. but if this snapshot is anything to go by, you are starving yourself to death. The assortment of foods you are eating are perfect, in fact if that is indicative of your diet you are right on track, you just need to eat more. Make your lunchtime…

Its only 12 pounds, if you are maintaining then enjoy your beer and sugar. When you start gaining, cut back.

good ol' taebo will tone you up real quick, it incorporates all your limbs and is free form so its safe for all levels of fitness.

If you are within your allowance, have at it. Shift work is brutal on any diet/workout regiment. Maybe just try to find healthier snack foods, Like an Apple and a 1/4 cup of almonds, a yogurt with a tablespoon of Skinny B cereal mixed in to fill your carb craving, Pop chips and jalapeño yogurt dip for the chip craving, its…

Hey bud, just read your food diary and, errr, well, it reads to me like my fantasy I'm not trying to lose weight diet. Beer is your enemy, and I know they suck, but green stuff is our friend. I eat more frikkin broccoli and cauliflower and all the other godawful fiber vegetables than I care to talk about. In fact, I even…

MFP is calculating using your new body mass to continue losing 2 pounds a week. Its not all that bad, my calorie intake is set at 1460 now, that's a lot of veg and salad meals, but I can increase that by exercise. Even a 30 minute walk a day will add a couple of hundred calories to your diet, that's the difference between…

Ummmmmm, you kinda answered your own question by your reply there.

This is a bit simplistic, but women's muscles are no different than mens in that if you want to bulk up your arms, you lift heavy weight, less reps.

Hey there, after tracking your diary back to its start I think it's quite evident why you are not losing weight. I'm a 6'1" man and my caloric intake on MFP is only 1460 calories a day on a sedentary day. I have a fitbit that automatically adjusts my calorie requirements depending on my activity level on that day, but you…

One of the best pieces of advice I ever got I read in a health book. Make sure that half of your plate is green and everything else falls in place. If half of your plate is full of veggies or salad there just isn't room for too many carbs. And now for the boring stuff. No White Bread....In fact I have cut all bread out of…

Ok, sitting here in a puddle of sweat after doing 60 minutes on a spin bike plus a 5 minute cool down using a HRM connected to the bikes computer while wearing the fitbit on my right sock. Here are the results. Calories Burned: Bike: 1900 Fitbit: 1950 Total Steps/RPM Bike: 5525 ( Averaged by myself, doing 85 RPM average…

I keep it in my pocket and find it tracks close enough, my leg is still moving up and down. Working out without pockets today so I'm wearing it in my sock, I'll let you know how that fairs.

Only you can answer the question. Be honest with yourself, we all walk around all day, are you doing repetitive heavy lifting, or are you back and forth from the copy machine to the customer service counter. Both on your feet all day jobs, very different levels of exertion. If you estimate too high, then you will not see…

I try to follow the MFP reccomendations, but there are times when my body tells me it requires more, I feel weak and drained and crave bacon, so I up my protein and I take care of the issue, same thing with carbs other than the bacon craving.

In England we cook the pork skin and make it crunchy, mmmmmmm, pork scratchings, this is no different, use the whole animal I say.

Hey Irish, we have a little device called a fit bit. Its pretty much a high tech pedometer. We looked at the the HRM but figured they weren't worth the hassle. With the fitbit, you wear it all day and it tracks everything, including stairs and sleep. I no longer have to input my workouts, just food, we paired the device up…
