Don't get it....., I've lived in three different countries, visited over 10, been to about 40 of the 50 states, ain't that enough? How much more of it do I need to see before I am valid?....lol

Not serious as in serious as a heart attack serious, but it was definitely a question that was weighing on my mind, and it was good to hear that it seems pretty normal, and i always appreciate constructive feedback.

Lol...yes, I was expecting a few of these responses, the question was more to see if the often very knowledgable people on this forum had more accurate info than I could find. My health is not in question, and I truly dont think your average general practitioner has the sports specific training to accurately measure max…

True, but it is really all in good fun.

Depends how often they work out.

Defmut3, I think your humor buttons set to off, just a sec, ummmmm, yep, there it is, you should be all better now. Read again, and maybe this time you will realize its a bit of tongue in cheek and not be so blatantly rude and insulting in your response.

When I was way younger I wanted to see if I could lose weight by drinking only beer, I did lose weight actually, but it also led to a lot of partying, sex with women who's names I never knew, friends coming over at all hours, lots of dancing, bar hopping, house part............wait a second, that was the BEST damn diet…

Andddd, I was one of the 53.....lol

I posted an actual fitness question and received one response, in the same time 53 people responded to a question about which body type they were most attracted to, just a social commentary is all.

And I'm part of the problem not the solution.

Dude, I abhor weightlifting, find it to be the most mind numbing repetitious load of cods wallop ever. But it's soooo good for you, in order to keep myself motivated I tend to mix it up.... A lot...., sometimes I'll use dead weight, sometimes I'll use resistance, just bought rip 60 to use my own body weight, and I cheat…

Thanks for the reply, it's good to hear that its not something that only I'm experiencing. I was thinking along the same lines, that maybe its just the extra padding that I'm having to keep in motion that is keeping my heart rate elevated.

I was doing insanity 6 times a week and my spin bike 2-3 times a week and my weightless totally stalled out and I was feeling worn out all the time and having to eat so many calories everyday. I have backed off the workouts, doing Insanity 3-4 times a a week and 2-3 times a week on my bike and the weight has started to…

Should eat plantains instead, they are errrrrrr, harder......lol

There is a product called Skinny B that is Hemp, buckwheat and Chia, very expensive but there is a recipe online to combine your own. I use this in my yoghurt as a kind of low fat granola. Pretty much eat it everyday.

When I'm stuck in my 6x9 cell........at work....lol.. I do Insanity, but have cut back to 3 to 4 times a week as it was wearing on me, and I complement it on off days with spinning and resistance band training. The hardest to get motivated for is the weights, boooooorrrrriiinnnggggg

Yup yup, push weight. Tone will show you way more positive change than simply trying to lose.

Try this, a splash of cranberry juice and sparkling water. Is it pop, hell no, but it gives you the same sensation while being 100% healthy.

Yes.

Getting up.

If this is the biggest problem you have going on, congratulations you have won the life lottery. You know how to do it, your weight will fluctuate, so what. There is only one guarantee, if you do give up your weight will continue to increase. you know, know, know you are just whining and that the path is obvious. Healthy…

No thanks, not a big fan of being hungry and trying to drink all my nutrients.

At your weight it's very doable, not long term but if you restrict carbs, eat a ton of raw dark green veg, think broccoli, no dip and drink tons of water you should be able to do 4 pounds in a week. The question is, why? 2pounds a week is a solid goal, does it really make a difference if you are 250 or 252 march 1, it's…

My advice is don't listen to any advice including mine. You do whatever you think will work for you. People way over think this stuff, it's a luxury afforded us by being a rich civilization. The reality is, less calories in than you burn you will lose weight, it's that simple, over time, less calories in than you burn your…

Wow, and all this time. I've been doing it by eating a balanced diet and exercise. Who knew that I could also do it by complicating things and throwing out whole food groups. I'm going to forget about millions of years of evolution and eat the way starving scrounging Neanderthals did.

Your MFP calorie allowance is set to have you lose 1to 2pounds per week depending how you set it up. When you exercise you burn more calories, so MFP adjusts your allowable caloris to maintain that one to two pounds per week, if it didn't you could potentially lose at a higher rate which isn't necessarily healthy. On the…
