I try to stay under 2000MG a day and the Center For Disease control states that 2300MG/day is the maximum intake recommended and even lower in some circumstances. Here is a link: http://www.cdc.gov/salt/pdfs/sodium_dietary_guidelines.pdf It is really an indirect indicator of food quality to me. If the sodium is high…

Fruits are much more calorie/sugar dense in general than vegetables. This is especially true with dark green vegetables like Kale. That said, I try to cut my fruit out all together thus no logging needed and I am strict with my vegetable logging but the content can be minimal relative to the effort to eat a 500 calorie…

That's more like it!

How accurately are you measuring your portions? Your log looks good at first quick glance.
-
get a body analysis scale instead? You clearly are doing well.

12 - the inclusion of the shotgun and tough look is pretty $^%& neat!

You got a lot of good information about weighing in so I will simply offer the compliment of the use of frivolity.

I saw a 20 ounce bottle of soda the other day with 70 grams of HFCS in it. The poster, in this case is ripped, and has had about 70 grams of sugar logged in the last week. That is not the consumption of a sugar advocate?! Granted several days in the last week there are no diet log entries.

Add olive oil and nut butters to things to make some more caloric ground. Watch the nut butters though they often have sugar and other garbage in addition to the nuts. Maybe some protein snacks are well like a small protein bar or something of the like. Quest bars are popular and I like Kind bars as well.

BMR is 1600 which she is at. If I eat at BMR and don't eat exercise back I don't loose crap.

ahh... yes. Open diaries are nice. Sodium is very high at times and mostly over goal on most days. Cut that out and eat better foods that are more whole and less processed.

Maybe it is time for a heart rate monitor and eating calories from exercise back? You metabolism could be needing a bit more input to feel comfortable eating fat instead of storing it. How is your alcohol intake? How OCD are you about your food measurements? Maybe a food scale is in order if you don't use one yet. Do you…

macro nutrients are protein, carbs, and fat. Everything else is not a macro nutrient but a micro nutrient or trace mineral etc. Macro goals vary by person but are often in the neighborhood of 40/30/30 or 50/25/25 which are carbs/fat/protein. Depends on your goals where you may go with yours. They are calculated by…

I stay in deficit but less of one to maintain as I often may go over a bit to have some pie or something like that.

Sitting tanks your metabolism. Sleeping you are actually resting, repairing, and rebuilding.

There is a lot of great literature that supports your experience. I try to stand as much as possible and it, at least, keeps me feeling energetic more frequently. One article I read in Runner's World equated the ill health effects of sitting to being comparable to smoking. Here is a link:…
