After an almost 2 month hiatus I started working out only yesterday. We have an HIIT class at the gym tomorrow, but my worry is, would I be able to cope up so early on in my workouts?

80% off all this is in your mind. Go for it, be safe, and struggle to sit down the next day...0

Oh! Thanks a lot
I will go for it then.

Although... it's for 45 minutes. I thought HIIT routines were supposed to be shorter.0

Remember what the HI stands for! Personally, I'd go for it. Up to you. I do recall reading an article regarding steady state cardio vs HIIT. I think it said your resting heart rate should be 60 or under before you try HIIT. Basically, their reasoning was that your cardiovascular system should be in good enough shape to perform the HIIT workout.0
