• I had been seeing a Chiropracter because of excruciating neck, back and shoulder pain since July. Before I started Paleo (March 1st) my Chiro Dr seemed to think that the biggest culprit was systemic inflammation and was considering putting me on a strict all veggie diet to eliminate all toxins. I concidered his info and…
• I eat of lot of these as well. I usually don't have any problem getting in all my calories. I have an avocado a day in my salads at lunch. Some days cals are a little over and some are under.
• Some days I'm over my calorie goal and some days I'm under. I figure it all evens out. I also look at my weekly goal to see how it's working out and I'm usually still within the weekly goal.
• I also have 1-2 pieces of dark chocolate most days. I also have tried the Hersheys but now I'll have to try the lindt's dark chocolate.

• I've only been Primal/Paleo for about 4 weeks. So still much to learn and would also love some new friends. I'm constantly reading about it. I'm still not strict with it yet. I'd say I'm maybe 90% of my diet is there. Getting my family that way is alot harder and works only at dinner time. But I'm loving it and how I feel.…
•
Try dark chocolate for a touch of sweet if need be...I have 72% dark chocolate from Trader Joes that is good...and 3 squares is perfect for me when I am craving some sweet eats that aren't in the form of fruits
I've only been Primal/Paleo for about 4 weeks. So still much to learn and would also love some…
• I've also heard that about oatmeal and Diabetics. I have a family member who has taken many antidepressants and anxiety meds and now he is suffering from Parkinson's stage 4. They are fairly certain that those meds caused it. It's not due to Genetics. Sad! Extra motivation to stay with the Paleo/Primal lifestyle and my…
• I agree! Losing weight definitely has taken more motivation and time out of me. Turning 40 hit me like a ton of bricks. Seemed like everything was changing. I'll be 42 this year and this is the year I plan on looking and feeling the best that I ever have, I'm so much more motivated and determined then ever. It is a…
• I love PB also. There are some great ides in here. Like mixing it with Greek yogurt and freezing it..Yum. I also like the idea of blending a frozen banana to a yogurt consistency and topping it with PB. Love it!
• Thanks for all the info! Will be looking into this.
• Completed W1 D1 column 3 with my 5 year old son. He's my little motivator. He's looking to get me into the pushup challenge now also :)
• W1 D1 Column 3 done. My 5 year old did this with me. He's so excited about doing this one and the push up one with me. Who knew I would have such support :)
• Hi! I'll actually be starting my day 1 tomorrow. I did some sit ups this morning after running and then I saw and read about the challenge after that and did my test set.
• Wow! It says I should start on Week 3 Column 3! Looks like alot to me!
• I'd like to start this! I just did my test and did 47. So now I'll look to see what column I start in. I want to get rid of more fat and strengthen. I know it'll make be a better and stronger runner also.
• Just completed W1D3. Feels great! Onto W2D1 now. I live in a hilly area so I may need to repeat W1 but we'll see how it goes. But I'm stoked. I'm ready for this. I've got a 5k coming up the end of May. I've got plenty of time but I want to run it non-stop this time. I always end up havng to do a run/walk thing but not this…
• I put Potassium as one of Diary Settings for nutrients tracked.
• Thank you so much for the links and information. I do love my salads but I can easily do it with spinach with no problems. The Goat's milk I'll have to try. Never had it before but willing to give it a go. The articles talk about the symptoms of having low Potassium and I just have to say wow! "Symptoms of a potassium…
• Thanks for the link macphean! I am going to try leaving out dairy for 30 days and see what happens. I have to say will be difficult for me though. Grains and legumes I don't think will be as difficult. Like the article mentioned I do limit my fruits due to the sugar and need to pick up more veggies.
• Is dairy Paleo?? I was thinking you were not allowed to have any. I'm new to this lifestyle and learning what is and what is not Paleo. Is there a list somewhere...a guideline to go by that I can follow??
• . I throw some frozen blueberries into greek yogurt - it freezes up and turns into something like soft-serve. Portobello Pizza Here's my version of it... Get the largest portabella mushrooms you can. Scrape the gills out of the portabella, then fill with your favorite pizza toppings (in this case tomato sauce, fresh mozz,…
• I'll have to try some of these! thanks
• Last time I did W1D2 was in Feb so I did that one again today. It felt great!! I have been working out on the eliptical so it wasn't too bad out there today. I'm lovin the warmer weather and being outside now. My son rode with on his bike for added support and it was great! Hopefully I can get out again tomorrow after work…
• That is truely amazing what you have accomplished! So inspirational! Good luck with the surgeries and keep us posted.
• Hi , I'm 41 and mother of 2 young boys. Finding time to exercise has always been challenge between work and activites with my boys. I've been doing much better with it lately. Since January I'm more determined to make it work. Finding MFP has been very motivating for me. Looking forward to warmer weather so I can get off…
• I totally agree. I'm always over on my sugar. I do believe most is from fruits but even then when your trying to watch it it's tough. I'm border line diabetic and trying to watch very carefully. Sodium is not too much of a problem unless I eat more processed foods. I can't believe how quick the sugars add up. It's still…
• I'm taking the following: Fish oil, multi vitamin, calcium, B12 and Vitamin C. I need to look into getting some Vitamin D and K though.
• I always seem to get head congestion or colds after running outside when it's cold. I wear a hat and neck gator also. I've been trying to run more outside but feel rotten starting about a hour later when my head begins to fill up.
• I'm 41 and started with MFP January 1st. I seem to go in phases. I'll eat right and loose weight and feel great and then I'll let all my progress go down the toilet and eat bad and gain weight again. It seems to follow with the seasons and stress. I really want to change that this time and improve my physical and mental…
• I have the same question about the sugar. I like to have a yogurt cup and an apple each day and right there that puts me over on my sugars. I even get the light yogurt. I think my sugar limit is only 25 and I'm always over that. It just seems way to low. Any ideas or answers would be appreciated.
