I'd love to do this! I was Paleo for about 7 months a year ago and lost 24 lbs. I felt great! Loved it! Then somehow hit a brick wall physically and mentally. I was depressed and physically felt terrible. I know my thyroid had alot to do with it. I 'm still in the process of getting that taken care of but I've gained back…

I went through a period of lot of anxiety and depression. I lost 24 lbs between last New Years and July and felt great. Ate good and excercised 5x week. Then have no idea what happened but slammed into a brick wall end of July. No motivation or energy. Crazy amount of hair loss. Started seeing Dr's. Found out it may be…

I am also living a Paleo lifestyle and it has made a world of difference. I never had any allergy diagnosis but I have learned that I do have sensitivities. I am living gluten and dairy free and have never felt better. Eating whole organic foods and nothing processed is a natural way to eat. It is also not going to break…

It'll be another adjustment for me. I love spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant. I guess I will have to just start limiting them raw for now or cooking them first. I used to always put flax seed in my breakfast smoothies also. I will stay Paleo now forever. It's been a big improvement for me. Just here now some…

Thanks for the info on the book. Today now when I looked it's free only to Amazon Prime members but for a regular Kindle purchase it's only 2.99. Looks like some other of her books may only be .99.

OOHH these are my favorite too. Love them!

This is the same reason I went Paleo. I still have issues with my shoulder but much better then it was before. My carpal tunnel has also improved greatly. I still have a way to go and need to tweek my diet more but it's been sooo much better.

My husband was much like yours and never gave it a thought until he saw what I was eating. I started this Paleo/Primal lifestyle March 1st. In these past 2 months he has seen my weight drop and I've told him how my blood sugars have gone down(I'm pre diaebtic). He also sees me exercising and I do think he is maybe starting…

I had the banana also and felt fine. I always need a little something in the A.M. so I did have a boiled egg before the race. Seemed to work out fine. How long do they expect for healing time with your fractured foot? Hope it gets better quickly! I know how frustrating it can be to not be able to exercise or run due to an…

I'm on week 3 of C25K and was going to wait on races until I got through the training but this one came up. Friends were doing this one also. First mile was great but 2nd one was tuff then 3rd one was better I was able to catch up some. I guess not bad for the first race of the season. They had bananas and energy bars…

I'll do it. The links you posted are very helpful and I'll be reading into them more tonight. I'm sad for no popcorn though. I always make it with coconut oil but ya...ok no popcorn :)

I've been Paleo for 2 months now and still have loads to learn! Some good information on here! Will read again and look into the sites when I have more time. I've been very interested in purchasing the Primal Blueprint but like you I've tried to learn most about it online. I also love checking out these blogs/discussions…

Interesting! I have heard this before about not needing sunscreen. Eat the right foods and you won't need sunscreen. There is a website I check out at times and she talks about this as well. Since sunscreens have toxic ingredients in them she recommended eating differently and no sunscreen would be needed. I'm anxious to…

Thanks for posting this MikeFlyMike! Very interesting to learn about the boodwork, your numbers and ratios.

I'm not looking for the "cheat" for myself. I really don't care for cakes. My son has a sensitivity to sugar and dyes. I want to be able to treat him to something for his birthday but I also want to try to keep it as low in sugar and gluten as much as possible... and dye free. I know that it's still not the healthy way to…

Thanks I'll have to try these out :)

Thanks for the post on Coconut Aminos. I've never heard of it and my husband loves to use soy sauce on alot of things. I can't wait to get some of that and try it. I'm having a harder time converting my husband to Paleo. He'll eat my dinners but won't encorporate it at any other time. He has even told me that he misses…

I'm right there with you. I was doing great for a long while then Easter came and yesterday I had my cousin's wedding shower. Blew it then. So now I'm back to starting over. I think the first day is the hardest. I try not to keep anything in the house which makes it a little easier. But I do think it gets easier with every…
