Seriously? Because you look great!

I just came to the forums to look for consistent people! Glad to have you on my friends list!

It is entirely amazing how I come to the forums to post a topic, and someone has already posted (almost word for word) what I was going to post! I'm not sure if the "in the same boat" mindset works for anyone else, but it helps me to know what I'm going through is just normal. I felt the same way this wekeend as well. I…

I just logged on to post my very own topic about just THIS VERY THING. We are in the same boat, and I feel terrible. I do not want to steal your post. I want you to know that you are not alone, and perhaps we can help eachother. I want to start by saying that I am gengerally a happy person. I lost 34 pounds in 2012. I let…

Great discovery! I'm going to try to jump on in and check back often. It seems as though several friended people become less supportive over time, including myself (when I am down-but that's when I need it the most!) NOT always the hooray, congrats, but also the supposrt when I am not doing well. I have about 75 pounds to…

I could have sritten this post. I have nothing to add, other than I fell where you are. I can't ever bear to change my ticker becasue if I do, that to me is failure. I can't wait to get back to better workouts and my life (after 9 weeks of jury duty, on which I gained 8 pounds)). I am off to a rough start. I have got to…

Side by side pictures can REALLY do the trick. Something else that helps me is to gather up stuff in the house that weighs as much as you have lost. Do two things: 1) take a picture of it and put in on your fridge for everyone to see just how far you have come. Doesn't matter that it is 2 years. It's gone. 2) CARRY it…

AMAZING work by all! You all look like totally different people!

YES! I agree so wholeheartedly!

Yay you! 5'5" I started at 255 in December 2011 (wow, I can't believe THAT). Down 39, looking to lose another 40+ this year! I'd love to have a bunch of people in the same boat! I work out at LEAST 30 minutes a day, been on MFP just over a year, started running this year, and earned my black belt. you can do it!

Admittedly, I only read a few of the posts, so perhaps this was already addressed : What is it you ate wanting to see but aren't getting? If it's weight loss, have you considered the possibility that your fat is being replaced by muscle? Muscle weighs more so you may not see that scale budge for a bit. Take your…

HI there! I've been faithfully logging for a little over a year. This is such a great place to be for support and asking questions and just general knowing that others are in the same boat! I'm 43, and I have an 11-year-old and 8-year-old, and as someone else stated another child (hubs, age 42). I'd love to be able to…

I think it's interesting. I, too, have tried both ways...eating back and not. I do SO much better when I DO eat back what I've exercised (in good food, NOT junk). That being said, the calories burned per exercise are NOT accurate on here. It wasn't until I got a heart rate monitor that I realized this and things started…

I love this post! What a fantastic feeling!

I am also 5'5". I started MFP 366 days ago, and have lost 37 pounds since late Deember 2011. I'm a slow go-er, but I love being here. This year I'd love to lose at least another 40. I just posted my one-year blog with much more detail. I'd love to do this together, so anyone who's interested, I'd love to be friends.

Wow! AMAZING! Thanks for sharing!

Let's do it!
-
I'm in it! I just passed one year on here and I'm not quitting anytime soon! Please add me :)
-
I would love to get back on the ship with you!

I do! I have been training in Tang Soo Do karate for 5 years and just earned my black belt this past August! I finally got my stuff in gear when I knew I had to endure an 8-hour test (yes, it was 8 hours) to earn my black belt. That included running a mile in under 11 minutes, 50 push-ups, sit-ups and knee bends...all at…

Wow! I love this! You have such a fresh and fun way to look at it all. Congratulations!

YAY!

Wow. Amazing story. I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm so happy you've changed your life!

Still a work in progress :)

WOW! Just WOW! That's amazing!
