I just wanted to know if drinking them would give some nutrition that I'm not currently getting that would help me lean up and lose faster without starving myself - because I am very opposed to doing that....I like to eat...and I am not looking for a quick fix. :)…

  • Yeah, I can't see where drinking 2 shakes a day gives you enough calories if you are exercising even if you eat a huge meal and snacks. I have used Whey Designer Protein powder before and loved it. Might just use that again for one of my meals to get lots of protein.

  • My recipe calls for 18.25 oz cake mix and 12 oz soda. I haven't made it yet. Gonna make it tomorrow for Sunday lunch. Using a yellow butter cake mix with a cream soda. A lot of the reviews I read said to add in 1-2 egg whites (no yokes) to make it rise like a normal cake. :) Good luck!

  • I'm 5'5 and my goal is 140 and then depending on how I look, I might go for 135. I'm 43 (44 in April). Also, I'm doing a little bit of weight training - not a lot but hoping to increas muscle and that weighs more than fat so when I get close to my goal it'll just depend on how I look and feel.   • I have not done the actual Slim Fast diet, however, I do drink a comparable shake (HEB brand called Opti-Meal) for breakfast 90% of the time.
