  • I recommend Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, you can purchase it on amazon digital for like $2, just for level one. It's definitely worth it in my opinion...and it's cheap. I've heard great things about her whole new line of workout DVD's and they're all pretty cheap. Good luck!
  • I love the Sucker Punch soundtrack, and it's even better if you've seen the movie too. It makes me more focused and determined to do my best at the gym so I can be just like Rockette. :)
  • Talk to your sister about these concerns. If she truly loves you and supports your new lifestyle changes, then she will understand if you deny the invite or bring your own food. Communication is the only way to avoid future drama. I also would like to point out that not everyone goes by the little in moderation theory.…
  • Exactly! I thought the same way when I first started, but it is shrinking! I just recently started incorporated more strength training into my routine (arms, thighs, legs and abs) and that's when I really started to see the changes in my tummy area. Good luck! If I can do this...you can do it too...trust me. :P
  • Thanks for fixing it! lol I'm a newbie at this! :) Thank you for the kind words too! YAY!
  • Your diary is not viewable to the public, you'll have to change that first.
  • WTG! That is very inspiring...I tried it...got 10 days in and then let it go because it was burning me out (I did 60 minutes of cardio M,W,F and strength training on Tue and Thu. I would do this at night before schoolwork and bed). Now I wanna start it again lol. :D
  • Run away from them? :P Wish it were that easy!!
  • Just because a woman is obese doesn't mean she's not healthy, same with thin women...just because their thin doesn't mean they're healthy. I'm considered obese but I'm highly active, eat right, have no health issues....I'm extremely healthy. Besides real women are the ones who are not ghosts....doesn't matter if they have…
  • I come home from the gym after an hour on the elliptical...burn 750 cals and also log in my cleaning and walking my dog......sometimes I burn more cleaning and walking my dog than I do at the gym that day....doesn't mean I don't work my *kitten* off cleaning my house and my dog is quite active so it's not a 10 minute walk…
  • I log "everyday activities" too and I am no way sedentary. I clean my house everyday, mop the floors on my hands and knees, vaccuum, walk my dog, clean my cars, wash the windows, laundry. The thing about it though...I work up a sweat doing all these things and I consider them a workout. Hell going to the grocery store…
  • I'd like to join as well! :)
  • I get like that too, on top of being grumpy and bloated I also get bad cramps so I don't feel like eating anything. :)
  • I can definitely see where you were going with this picture and agree that it is hard to be a curvy woman in todays society. I think a lof of people were offended by some of the comments of the thinner ladies. There was a lot of bashing after your initial post.
  • I think they're all beautiful women! It is sad that there is a strain for us to be smaller and thinner, pocket sized, but that doesn't mean we have to be any size other people think we need to be. I have a friend who is less than a hundred pounds who is trying to get curves and I am trying to lose some of mine. I…
  • I am so making this for lunch on Saturday! Thanks for the low cal mac n cheese (I love mac n cheese, but don't wanna waste calories or fat on it!). :)

  • Thank you for the replies. I'm glad to hear it's not just me. I'm actually not dieting, just eating healthier. I absolutely loathe the word diet. :P But thank you for the info!
  • I'm socially akward lol. I have the same problem too with adding new friends, but hey we are all here for the same reasons! Adding you now! :)
  • I am very fortunate to have access to a fully equipped gym and pools for free. We're a military family living on a military installation and they have gyms in their neighborhood centers for the spouses to use, they also have a fully equpped gym for everyone to use. I used to pay $30 in my hometown and it was a community…
