That can't be right. Sounds like your HRM isn't working. I'd go by the calculations set in the Insanity program instead of MFP calculations. MFP had mine set at 1200 also but with the calculations for Insanity, it's 1600. You're going to need more healthy calories just to get through the workouts. Hope this helps

if you have a crock pot, you could throw chicken breast and salsa in it and set the timer or buy some beef stew meat, throw in a bunch of veggies and set the timer. There are all kinds of things you can do with a crock pot and that way you know that the food is "done". You can google crock pot recipes for other ideas.

i've heard it's better to space out your calories evenly between your meals with the exception of 2 snacks during the day being at about 100-200 calories for the snacks. But, with that said, my dinner is always my largest meal at about 500-600 calories otherwise I am STARVING after dinner. Everyone is different, but this…

I thought, "OMG, how am I ever going to get through this?" But I found if I stuck with it and didn't give up I continued getting stronger. Stick with it, you…

Hi Cathryn and welcome!!! I absolutely love MFP and if you have a smartphone it will make entering foods even easier, just scan the item and it will go into your database. I find it so much easier to stay on track with my calorie goals and calorie burns than using a standard journal. Stick with it and I know you'll love it…

not too picky on what type of cheese. Love most of them except the softer ones. Here's a questions, why is swiss cheese not lower in calories since it has holes in it? lol If cheese wasn't so high in calories, I would eat a whole block of it

I use N-Zero Extreme from GNC in orange flavor. If you're a gold card member you get 20% off of it the first week of every month. After my discount it costs $47 and lasts me a full month. I get the "pins and needles" effect and really gives me energy to get through my workout. I love the flavor too, it tastes almost like…

I am in the exact same situation as you. I have less than 5lbs to go to get to my goal with the excess weight being right around my belly button. I have already purchased 6W6P and am starting it on Sunday. Would love to know what kind of results others have had with this one also. A huge congrats on your progress so far.…
