I had also done alot of JM's workouts prior to Insanity (ripped in 30, no more trouble zones, body revolution) just to name a few. I am sooo thankful I did those first or I might have actually quit Insanity due to the intensity. Insanity is definately the hardest workout i've ever done but I feel so accomplished after I…

I've made this twice since seeing your post.....LOVE IT!!! Any cajun sauce will work. We used Mudflap Jones Cajun Kicker (I know, who comes up with these names?), and it was delicious

I use the Supreme Protein bars: carb control. The all taste really good and are low in sugar

depending on your height and current weight, the 370 burned could be close. Oh course it's going to be different for everyone, but I burn anywhere from 350-475 doing Insanity depending on which of the workouts I do. You're right in that range so you SHOULD be safe to use that number until you get a HRM. Better than…

I've been getting that comment alot lately!! Pisses me off too. I'm 5'4" and 135lbs with a BMI of 23.2 and 20% body fat. So yes, i'm thin, but NOT skinny and I have muscle tone. I eat 1600 calories a day and actually eat more than my other coworkers. I think it's just jealously on their part but it still stings when people…

don't worry too much about the weight gain. I agree with the above post, it's problem water retention. Your body is going to hold some excess fluid to protect and heal your sore muscles. I'm almost done with week 2 and my clothes are already fitting looser. Give it more time
-
ok, thanks. That helps. I don't have much to lose, just need to tone. I was thinking that my calorie burn was too low but with the 300-600 mark, i'm in that range.

I know i've told you this before, but.....fabulous job!! You are such an inspiration and have stuck with it even while you were going to college to get your degree and have such a kind heart. Keep up the fabulous work <hugs>

he is totally supportive and eats the healthy meals I cook but he always adds tons of cheese to the items when I use the fat-free cheese. He's blessed with a high metabolism and has never had to watch what he eats. I do find it hard though when he sits next to me with a bag of Doritos or Oreos and just munches away

I might add that I burned 216 calories just doing the fit test. I know everyone is different but 30 is extremely low
