  • Feel free to add - also a busy working Mom trying to lose about 30 lbs.
  • They are both good programs that teach a healthy lifestyle you can adopt for the long haul. Similar in terms of making you realize nutrition is important. I found the forums and support on MFP more helpful than WW, but found the WW weigh in in person held me very accountable. Both great programs - MFP is free though and WW…
  • It looks as if all the prepackaged foods are giving you too much sodium intake. Sodium will make you retain water. Maybe try to cut all the prepackaged stuff a bit?
  • Congratulations - That's great for all of us to remember.
  • Lots of good advice here. Have the doctor's run all the necessary tests? Thyroid, hormone imbalance? Maybe see a nutritionist to get you started and then come back here daily. Logging your food will really make you realize how many empty calories we all consume when not paying attention. Good luck to you. I will add you as…
  • Way to take control! Very inspiring.

However, I am no expert and my bodies metabolism is in a deep freeze. I really am struggling to get the scale to move. Good luck!
  • Awesome, awesome - Don't change a thing - You will motivate many with your speech as you just did me! Thank you.
  • I recommitted right when you did - january 7th. Had a good first week and actually gained a pound today (Tuesday is my weigh in just cause I started on a Tuesday) Guess what - I'm changing my weigh in to Friday! I am going to friend you as it seems like we are in the same boat. Over the past few years, weight is way easier…
