I personally like coconut milk and almond milk. I'm lactose intolerant,so I don't care much for milk. I'll drink soy milk at Starbucks but that's about it. Too much soy has health concerns linked to it as far as phytoestrogens and poor protein absorption (before anyone attacks this statement -- pay attention to the word…

The problem I find with protein is that it sits like a brick if consumed immediately before or during the workout. Then again, I have a weak stomach.
-
Prior to workout or during: coconut water. For me, that's enough sugar to keep me going.

Madras curried salmon and punjab eggplant over jasmine rice; with a side of asparagus.

Never had it but this could work: two morningstar griller prime or black bean burgers + cheese (or daiya vegan cheese if vegan).

No one said you have to eat breakfast foods for breakfast. I have a wheat/gluten intolerance which comes and goes (crohn's is fun) and I'm also lactose intolerant (for the most part - cheese is a gamble) and it really hasn't been a set-back. I'm a fan of the following: -Overcooked Quinoa - turns into the consistency of…

Cookbooks. Read labels. Grocery stores have sections devoted to GF foods. I know Kroger includes a "Gluten Free" label to their price tags. Central Market and Sprouts do as well. Get into the habit of eating more vegetables, fruit, rice, unprocessed meats. Today, GF is more accepted (whether allergy and fad) and many…

Yes! I love deconstructing food and eating items one at a time. I don't do this all of the time though... or around people. I can't think of anything else that's out of the ordinary.

Roughly 1800-2100 a day w/o exercise. 5'9" and 165lbs.

Udi's is delicious! I like buying Pamela's bread mixes and making my own.

If you do not have an allergy or sensitivity to gluten, there's really no point to go gluten free. If you're really concerned about the grains you eat, at least cut out processed and refined grains (e.g. white flour, etc..). Having Crohn's Disease, I go through cycles of being gluten intolerant to being able to eat…

Some gyms have indoor tracks built in. You just have to find which one. Or just run in the morning/evening when it get cooler. Considering that I live in Texas, I'm not excited that summer is right around the corner =/

Anything but beef, pork, soy, sheep, and most dairy. Eggs, nuts, seeds, fish, chicken, vegetable proteins other than seitan and soy, grains, greek yogurt, aged cheeses.

If your goal is only 1300... I would eat more than 1/4 or 1/2 as the above user posted. You don't want your net caloric intake to fall below 1200-1300.
-
You still have to hit a minimum amount of calories in order to live. Say you eat the bare minimum and then run off 900 calories. Your body not longer is at that minimum amount since you burned of 900 of it and you must replenish it to live. Now, you don't have to eat ALL your calories back if you eat more than the bare…

Works just as well =) I meant to say chocolate coconut milk which is pretty delicious.

Easy answer = Profit.

Natural trans fat can be found in foods made from cows and sheep.
-
Technically yes and technically no. Everything is natural by origin. "Natural" food is a stupid concept. Gasoline is technically natural. I won't drink it but it's natural. No unhealthy foods? False. Synthetic trans fat = horrible for you. Excessive sodium that is prevalant in all our diets = horrible for you. Soda = waste…

Coconut milk + banana + ice. Blend. Delicious.

It matters if you're diabetic. Sweetners are empty calories (apart from fruit). Yes, and there might be some nutritional value to honey. But sugar is sugar. Everything is okay is moderation.

I thought those were the 7 food groups... ... I must be doing something wrong...

1000 calories of drinking liquor? That's a lot of drinking. I'd be more concerned about other things than weight loss. Considering 1 shot of liquor = ~100 calories. 1000 calories = 10 shots or 10 bud lights or 40 oz of wine.

Water. Also, I do not log gum.

Mayonnaise Oysters Cauliflower Durian

I have a really nice, expensive Oster blender and a cheap Cuisinart blender The cheap Cuisinart works better than the other one. No need to spend a lot of money - pick up a $20 blender at Target or Walmart.

If you're a beginner, I would run every other day until you start gaining endurance. On your off days, cross train (lift weights, bicycle, swim, yoga, etc..).

Didn't Denny's have a bacon sundae? I have a feeling that Burger King will sooner or later go bankrupt since they can't think of any original ideas.. Edit: that and their food sucks.
