It depends on how you are doing it. I think you can find hula hooping in the exercise logs under Wii Fit.

Thank you for sharing this!

I workout with a personal trainer and I was told to do strength training first and then cardio for many of the reasons others have stated...more energy to do your strength training if you do it first and also while strength training you burn off something(sugars or something like that...sorry I can't remember right now) so…

We have several waterparks and you can also tube the Salt River (though people drink quite a lot and the kiddos might see some inappropriate stuff). You could go to a D-backs game. We have several museums the kids would like. You can go rent a paddleboat at Tempe Town Lake. We have tons of lakes within an hour drive. We…

NO! I HATE when my food touches if it shouldn't (main dish and side dishes)...but am ok if it is should go together (spaghetti, tacos, etc). I am so happy to see I am not alone as my bf, friends, and family all give me a hard time about it. Sometimes they even make my food touch on purpose to watch me squirm! I will push…

Yes, the Fitbit calculates your basal/resting calorie burn as well as when you are active. Even if I laid in bed all day doing nothing I'd still burn about 1,600 calories so with my activity my Fitbit says I usually burn around 2,300 or so.

I think this is the reason: MFP uses the activity level you entered as a factor in determining how many calories you can eat each day. Fitbit uses the actual activity level you are doing based on your steps, etc. that it is tracking. So often Fitbit will give you many more calories simply because you are more active than…

Dear Bailey (my puppy), Just because I'm laying on the floor exercising doesn't mean I want you to put your 100lbs of adorableness on top of me. I especially don't want you to go and get your toy and drop it directly on my tummy as I try and do crunches. Please entertain yourself with your toy until I am done and then I…

I use the Wii Fit game and Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatium. I like the Wii Fit game cuz it has lots of different choices. The Jillian Michaels game will kick your butt! :)

You have to take time off to let your muscles recover...working out 14 days straight might seem like a great plan but without giving your muscles time to recover you are actually not doing yourself much good working out so much. I work out 5 days a week and give myself 2 days off. I usually don't take more than 1 day off…

I only really ever drank caffeine free soda like Sprite. Sometimes Coke when mixed with alcohol. I gave it up as a New Year's res. back in 2007( I think...been so long I can't remember for sure) and haven't missed it since. My skin and hair looked so much better and I lost a little bit of weight. Every once in awhile I'll…

So your "calories burned from normal daily activity" is what you burn just breathing, living, without exercise. Your "daily goal" is the amount of calories you are aiming to eat each day without exercise. The "daily calorie deficit" is the first number minus the 2nd number. This is what leads to weight loss because you are…

At Mcdonalds a vanilla cone only has 150 calories and it really seems to help with my ice cream cravings. I also like to freeze the Yoplait whipped yogurts...very creamy and less than 200 calories (140 for strawberry...160 for vanilla). :)

I don't have a cheat day but just a cheat meal once a week as long as I have worked out and done well with my calories. It makes me work harder during the week to "earn" my cheat meal.

I just got Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatium 2010 for Christmas and it kicked my butt today!
