geez and i thought my 500 calorie (45 min sessions) were decent! i've got to step it up haha but reading about everyone's amazing burns just reminds me that humans have the best endurance out of any animal, predator or prey! great job guys!

i would say do some weight lifting + clean eating and that would be your best chance at making your back muscles more defined and making your bust smaller :) i used the chalean extreme program and it helped me a lot! its's a 90 day program but i started seeing results 2 weeks in. let me know if you are interested and i can…

i'm really enjoying T25 :) i'm on my first week of beta and i've got to say i like beta better than alpha. also, the music for the speed videos are great! other than that i put my music on over the tv. let me know if you have more questions about T25 and i'll try to answer them!

i second what everyone is saying about getting a heart rate monitor... try a polar FT4 or something that has a chest strap, as those are more accurate :) if you don't have the money for one, you could also use the "circuit training" setting and input 25-50 minutes (the lengths of the workouts) for all except stretch and…

haha well, i think it is super cheap because i used to buy a number of supplements including Camu-Camu powder, rose hips, suma, gingko, etc. and the 16 supplements i used to buy would cost me about $400-450 a month. granted, i know $4/shake seems like a lot but when i would make my own, it ran me about $12 a smoothie.…

i made these for lunch today and they were delicious! :) thanks for the recipe!

100% love mushrooms! so tasty and they can make the whole house smell delicious if you sautee them! probably my fave vegetable! :)

i love shakeology!! i like all except the vegan tropical, it just tastes too chalky to me... although my sister like the vegan tropical. i just feel so healthy after i drink it! but in the interest of full disclosure, i am a beachbody coach, but i am kind of what they call a "discount coach"... i signed up to get my…

i have my vanilla shakeology for breakfast almost religiously! before that i would alternate between chocolate shakeology and a scramble of 1 whole egg, 3 egg whites, whatever veggies that seem appealing, and some jimmy dean low fat turkey sausage links... yummmmm!!

also, i don't know if anyone mentioned this, but i usually use 2 cups of liquid (1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk and 1 cup water). that should help with the consistency... also, for the chocolate i generally use 1 cup or so of frozen strawberries or mixed berries, and an ice cube or two if i want it thicker. hope…

Not gonna lie, your post made me laugh! Thanks for the info! I'm still shunning fat - for me protein is the prodigal son! :)

This is exactly what I thought! But I think I confused myself because of the "diet" i am following, 45/35/20, p/c/f, which makes me confused! haha I think I'll go by the calories in vs. calories out theory though!

also, if you have resistance tubing you might check out liveexercise.com, which has free videos that are "live" and with an instructor.. I haven't used it, but they have archives of all their shows and i watched one and it seemed awesome :)

itsuki, thanks for your comment! I've lost about a 1/4 inch from my calves and upper arms, however nothing on my waist or thighs  i also just recently started incorporating protein powder into my diet, generally for right after a workout and a midday or after dinner snack. the one i use has 27g protein in one 36g…

alexandria412, thanks for the suggestion! I haven't had cottage cheese since I was very young, and I didn't like it, but I also didn't like greek yogurt until a week or two ago! I'll definitely try cottage cheese with fruit and nuts. can't go wrong with fresh fruit and nuts! and i feel fine on 1250 net a day...…

bumpity bump bump! :)

Whoops! Meant to do that before posting! It's open now though. I aim for my net calories to be around 1250 a day. On the days that I lift, I burn around 300-350 calories according to my HRM, and 600-700 on my cardio days. I've also recently tried to cut out sugars (my daily dessert!) besides those in fruit or in my protein…

bump cause i'm curious

thanks stylistchik! Very interesting! I didn't know that it was by lean body mass, because that sounds much more reasonable. i know that women can't "bulk up", which is why i'm wondering if the whole "weightlifting = 1.5 g protein/ lbs" was only for men, as opposed to women too.. rereading my first post, i realize i never…

I totally agree! I'm currently doing push, and the heaviest weight I have is 15 pounds, and even that's not heavy enough. I might end up having to buy these too! But being unemployed has put a damper on that so I'm going to do what Chalene recommended -- ACT like I'm using heavier weights to get more resistance. Good luck!
