Hi all,

I keep on hearing people saying that carbs are harder to digest at night, so that for the best weight loss, it is best to limit carbs after 2 or 3 pm.. is there any truth in this?

I don't believe so. If your goal is to lose weight, timing is not important. You could eat all of your calories before bed if you wanted to; it's all calories in vs. calories out!

Poor carbs, they get such a beating these days..... fat must be laughing it's little cells off now carbs are the enemy and fat is welcomed back again like the prodigal son.

As far as I'm aware there is no difference between eating carbs at night or during the day.
Your body doesn't suddenly stop working overnight (and if it did then what you ate is no longer relevant any more, you'd be dead!).

Eat what makes you feel good/healthy whenever you want it. Just not too much!

This is exactly what I thought! But I think I confused myself because of the "diet" i am following, 45/35/20, p/c/f, which makes me confused! haha I think I'll go by the calories in vs. calories out theory though!

Not gonna lie, your post made me laugh! Thanks for the info! I'm still shunning fat - for me protein is the prodigal son! :)
